... Cause in a sky full of stars, I think I saw you.

****************************************************************************************

Eight years later

We were back at the bridge.

Dennis.

Me.

But we were not alone.

This time we had our children with us. Twins. A boy and a girl.

Typical, isn't it?

I guess my life was full of double of mostly everything. Family, kids, name, profession.

Profession you might ask.

I was currently working as a waitress in a restaurant, and still a popular babysitter in our area.

I didn't want to go to college. Mr. Charlie had offered to put me in college but I politely declined the offer.

To be honest, I was quite satisfied with my life right now. Dennis and I had our own house, our own kids, our own jobs. We were both earning good money and we both took care of our children without stress.

Since I couldn't go to college anymore, I decided to learn astrology from astrology books I got from the town library and the Internet. And it's been interesting to know so many fun facts about the solar system. Definitely worth it.

I made a wish that I got everything I ever wanted. I guess wishes do come true afterall.

My sister was also married to her dream man and she was expecting. My dad stayed with my sister and her husband, so he wouldn't be all alone in his house by himself.

I'm glad everything eventually worked out in my life. Though life can have its ups and downs, it doesn't matter. Because I have my family with me every step of the way.

I stood at the edge of the bridge, Dennis' arms around my waist as we silently took in the peaceful sounds of the waters below us, while our four-year-old children played around us, their laughs and screams ringing in the evening breeze.

A moment later, one of them tugged at my dress. I smiled and held up our son up in my arms, Dennis went on to carry our daughter.

Thomas our son, had taken the green part of my eyes, whereas Simone our daughter had taken her father's blue eyes but both our children had managed to look totally identical, each sharing both me Dennis'features. Both also had blonde hair like me. They were beautiful, and the best children I could ask for.

As the sun began to set, we started on our way home.

I was content, that's for sure.

Who knew that the mysterious stranger I sat with at the bridge every night, would possibly be mine one day.

The End.
