We began as wanderers, and we are wanderers still. We have lingered long enough on the shores of the comic ocean. We are ready at last to set sail for the stars.

We all reached the familiar looking house. It still looked the same as it was months ago. Except the paintings on the wall looked a little duller than before.
We walked up the front porch and Lily opened the door, letting us in.
"Dad I'm home." Lily shouted. She hanged her coat on the rack, Dennis and I doing same.
"I'm in the kitchen." Dad shouted back.
Lily glanced at me and smiled at me reassuringly. I was a bit anxious. Who wouldn't be when after so many months away from home, after being practically tossed from your own house, you were back.
"Why does it sound like you have multiple feet right now? " I heard dad say from the kitchen.
I chuckled lowly and shook my head.
Dennis waited at the door of the kitchen while Lily and I stepped into the kitchen. Dad was washing his hands in the sink, his back facing us. When he turned around, he had a weird look on his face. Then suddenly he laughed.
"Sorry Lily. I'm not wearing my glasses, I thought I saw two of you. " He mentioned, going to the dining table.
"He wears glasses now. He has a foggy eyesight. Oldness is catching up with him." Lily whispered to me and I giggled quietly.
"There's no such thing as oldness Lily." I whispered back.
Dad grabbed his glasses which was lying down innocently on the table. He wore it and looked back at us.
"Lisa?" Dad gave a hopeful look. I smiled at him.
"Dad." I said softly.
"My darling." Dad opened his arms moving towards me. I immediately hugged him.
This was a nice family moment. Lily had a pleased smile plastered on her pretty face while dad and I were engaged in a warm, longing hug.
Moments later, we were sitted at the table, talking about everything that had happened in our lives these past months, constantly making fun of mom, town gossip and random topics. I also introduced Dennis to my dad and dad immediately had a liking for him.
We talked on for hours until it was time to go back to my second family. I said bye to my dad and sister, telling them I would visit every single day, since I couldn't come back to live with them, practically having a whole new life in the other side of town.
Everything was turning out great in my life. I now had two lovely families, an amazing boyfriend and a peaceful environment.
What more can I possibly ask for?
