just as ashton and her dad walked out, meredith let out a large groan and threw her head back. "mooom." she sighed.
"yes?" she chuckled.
"i'm really confused about everything." she mumbled, and looked at her mom. "i think i like him and i don't know how to do anything."
her mom dropped her fork. "are you talking about sex?"
"no!" meredith yelled. "i mean like telling him and stuff."
"so you mean kissing by 'and stuff'?" her mom asked, looking meredith right in the eye.
"no, i mean just like what to do to let him know like, 'HEY LOOK I LIKE YOU'. we've already kissed anyway." she mumbled the last part.
her mom looked like she was about to have a stroke. "you kissed him?" she whisper yelled. "and didn't tell me?!"
"it wasn't really a big deal, it just like happened." meredith mumbled.
"why aren't you guys dating already?" she groaned. "i mean i'm rooting for you guys all the way. your dad isnt, but i am."
meredith chuckled. "glad to know but i still have no clue how to let him know that i actually like him." she sighed, eating another bite of pasta. "which was the whole point of this conversation."
her mom tapped her chin for a bit. "make him jealous."
