Senior Year *discontinued*

Snow: Day 3

I wake up to a text message from Mitch saying: Good morning :)
I smile. Even though we aren't dating, I still love good morning texts.
I text good morning back, then I get out of bed and start to get dressed.
I look out the window to see the ground covered in snow.
I walk out to my mom.
"Are we off today?"
"Yup!" she says with a smile
"Sweet!"
I go back in my room and throw on a pair of fuzzy pants and a t shirt.
What about Mitch? I should probably text him. I sit on my bed and pick up my phone.
Message from Mitch: I'll be over with hot chocolate and fuzzy blankets
I smile. Wait. This is just a friendly thing, right? I really need to talk to Oliver.
I text Oliver that we need to talk.
I wait patiently for Mitch to come over.
I hear a knock at the door. It's Mitch.
I go to open the door and he walks in.
"You ready for this?"
I chuckle
"Totally"
We go into the living room and sit my the fire with hot chocolate in our hands.
"I feel like I've known you forever" I admit to him.
"I feel the same haha." He pauses
"Well, um, you might know me because of my minecraft YouTube channel, BajanCanadian..."
Oh my god. I do! How did I not notice?! He was my escape, along with Jerome and the rest of The Pack. He was the only reason I was happy, well beside Oliver. I guess I just forgot everything in the move.
I started fan-girling inside.
"oH MY GOSH" I decided to try and keep my cool
"You really don't know how much your videos have helped me through the tough days"
He blushes
"Well thanks" he says with a smile
We just sit in silence for a moment until my phone goes off. It's Oliver
Message from Oliver:
I can call if you want me to.
Before I could respond to him my phone starts ringing.
" I'm sorry, I need to take this"
I walk into my room and shut the door.
"Hello?"
"Hey babe , how's Canada?"
Babe? I'm guessing he does think we are still dating.
"Um, cold" he laughs
"I bet, so, what did you want to talk about?"
I pause, scared to ask
"Do, do we still have a relationship?"
I wait anxiously for his reply
"Why wouldn't we? Have you met someone already?"
I'm scared to answer, I don't want to hurt his feelings, I wasn't even sure if I had feelings for Mitch. I mean how could I? I just met him yesterday.
"Erm, no. I just don't really think long distance relationships work out very well" he doesn't say anything.
"Oh... Well I guess we're just friends then. Right?" He asks
"Yeah" I reply
He took it a lot better then I expected. Hm
No one says anything.
"Well um, I'll talk to you later?" I say
"Yeah"
I hang up and go back out to Mitch.
"Who was that?" He asks
I'm not sure if I should tell him or not.
"Uh, it was...Oliver"
He just nods.
There was a small moment of silence.
"We officially ended our relationship" I blurt out.
Mitch seemed shocked.
"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that" he replied
I wasn't really, it wasn't unexpected so it didn't hurt me as much as I thought it would.
"It's alright"
"So, what's it like being a gamer?" I ask.
We just talked about his career and how much fun it is to play a game with your friends as a career.
Later on, I just got really tired for some reason. The last thing I remember is looking into the fire and slowly falling asleep. I did have an unusual dream though.
It started out with me in school, I was opening my locker and Mitch comes out of no where. He shoves me up against the locker and says
"I've been wanting to do this since the first time I saw your face" he presses his lips against mine for a solid 8 seconds. I was enjoying it, wait. What? Well I know I've been dreaming of this ever since I started watching his channel, but still, I just broke up with my boyfriend not even 2 hours ago and I'm already thinking about another guy. I don't wanna be that girl. But, it's not like anybody knew except Mitch and my parents.
Well after that happened he finally pulled away and asked me to go on a date with him. We went to this really fancy restaurant. I was wearing a black dress with a white belt wrapped around my waist. Mitch had on a nice black suit with a red tie. After we had sat down, not even 5 minutes later, he spilled water all over himself, so I had to help clean him up. After that it was just a blur, I just know that I enjoyed it.

Mitch's POV

I really enjoyed talking to her. But after awhile she fell asleep. I don't know if she noticed but she has her head rested on my shoulder. I didn't want to disturb her. She looked so beautif- uh I mean peaceful. I haven't know her for that long but it felt like I've known her forever. Wait. There is one thing I remember. I was just scrolling through the comments on one of my videos one day and there was one comment that really stuck out to me. And it was Jaspers. It read:
Mitch, thank-you for making your videos, you are one of the only people that can make me happy, even when I don't want to be. I come home from school everyday ready to see that you have a video uploaded for me to watch. Whenever I'm down, I just go to your channel, click on a video, and I'm just automatically happy. Thank you for making others happy when you might not even be happy yourself. Take care! <3 Jasper

It was true. Even when I wasn't happy, I still had to make videos, but it took my mind off of things. Her comment stuck to me. Even though I didn't reply, I still read it. I clicked on her channel to see if she had posted any videos. I saw several minecraft videos and then one titled "introducing myself" I clicked on it to hear her talking about herself. She said her favorite color was orange or red, she loved animals and drawing. Oh and that she wanted to go to college to be a veterinarian. She never knew that I did this, and I wasn't sure if I was going tell her or not. Well it's not that important.
I heard a small groan. She's waking up.
