Riley's Pov:
Tonight was my date with Lucas. I'm really nervous. I don't know what to wear! I don't know how to do my hair! I need to call Maya!
*on the phone with Riley*
Riley- Maya!
Maya- what?
Riley- I need you to come over now!
Maya- is it about Lucas?
Riley- yes! Come to my house now!
Maya- ok ok. I'm on my way.
*end on conversation*
I decided to curl my hair and put on a little bit of makeup but I'm still waiting for Maya to come to help me pick out my outfit.
*door bell rings*
"Maya!" I yelled.
I ran downstairs and opened the door. It was Maya.
"Maya! I need your help! I don't know what to wear!" I yelled
"Really, your asking me for fashion advice?"
"Yes! Come on!" I said starting to drag her when she saw my uncle josh.
"Hey josh" Maya said hugging him.
"Hey beautiful" uncle josh said.
"Awww your so sweet!" Maya said.
"No you are and your so-" uncle josh started to say but I cut him off.
"Ok we get it! Your both so sweet and good looking! Now Maya let's go!" I said talking fast and pulling Maya.
When we got upstairs Maya immediately went to my closet. She pulled how a couple of dresses.
"Too short" I said
"How about this?"
"Too long"
"This?"
"Too bright"
"This one?"
"Too dark"
"How about this one"
"Perfect!"
I put on my burgundy mid length sleeve dress with black wedges. I heard the door bell ring and I started to panic.
"Oh my god! What if that's him! Do I look ok! Oh no, I look fat! My hair is to big! Does my makeup look ok! DO I LOOK OK! Is it Lucas! Please tell me its not Lucas! Do I look ok!" I said panicking.
"Riley calm down. You look beautiful" Maya said trying to make me calm down.
"Are you sure?" I asked her.
"Positive" she replied as we walked downstairs.
When we walked downstairs everyone was there. My mom, dad, auggie, uncle josh, Lucas, and even Shawn. He arrived this morning and Maya still hasn't seen him.
"Wow Riley you look beautiful!" My mom and dad said.
"I have the most prettiest sister ever!" Auggie said.
"Wow! You look so grown up and beautiful! You make me feel old" my uncle josh said.
"Riley. You look stunning" Shawn said as I hugged my family.
"Riley?" Lucas asked. He was wearing such a handsome suit. He looked amazing.
"Yeah?" I asked
"You look gorgeous" he said making me blush.
