10/6 9:00

I haven't left my house at all the past day. I can't see Kilorn again. I'm going to need to go talk to Farley sometime soon and explain things. I have been putting that off for a while now. Also, Maven told me to stay out of sight of the Queen. She can't know that I'm not at war. That's not a problem. It's not like a see the Queen of Norta on a regular basis. She stays in the palace. Especially since the Scarlet Guard has been attacking more often recently. Today, I am going to find Farley. I hope she can still let me in.

I changed my clothes. I was now wearing black pants and a dark green shirt. I put my hair in two french braids. I got my bag, put my diary in it and walked out the door.

The air was chilly. Leaves were flying everywhere. Kilorn was right, there was barely anyone on the streets. Since the weathers getting colder, the reds will probably stay inside more. I walked down the streets of the village.

"Move out of the way!" I heard from behind me. I turned around to see about 50 guards walking down the street.

"We are looking for Juliet Harrison!" They yelled.

No. No. No. No. How did they find out? Did Maven tell?

I decided that I couldn't run. They would know it was me. I put my head down and looked at the ground.

I can't be seen. I can't. Just disappear, Juliet.

The guards moved toward me. I stayed as still as I could. A guard right to me. I shut my eyes. I couldn't be found. I opened my eyes and looked right at the guard.

"She's not here! Move to the next village!" The guard shouted.

What? I looked right at him!?  I looked down at my hand to see nothing. I looked at my feet, they were gone. WHAT IS GOING ON!? I'm invisible?

I ran. I needed to find Kilorn. I have a feeling he'll know what to do. I ran to the Pond to find Kilorn sitting on the bench eating an apple.

"Kilorn! I need your help!" I said. He didn't even look up from the apple.

"Juliet, I'm not in the mood to talk right now."

"No I need your help!!"

"Are you here to talk about your "silver boyfriend"?!" He looked up with a confused look on his face. He couldn't see me. "Juliet?"

"Silver boyfriend!? What are you talking about?"

"Wait, where are you?" He stood up and looked around.

I reached over to him and grabbed his hand. He screamed.

"It's me!" I said.

"What?!"

"I'm invisible!"

"Y-you're a newblood, J." He whispered so only I could hear him. "We need to get you to Farley."

"Are you still mad at me?" I changed the subject.

"I'll get over it. Come on we need to move fast." He dragged me through the street.

"You can trust me, Farley. It was one mistake." I told her.

"Fine! You can be in the Guard. Kilorn, show her around." She told Kilorn. "And listen Juliet, you mess this up, if you tell anyone, you will be kicked out."

"Yes ma'am."

"Call me Farley."

She left and I looked at Kilorn.

"Later, we'll introduce you to the other members."

"Is Mare a member?"

"Yeah of course she is. And someone else, well, you'll be surprised." He said as we walked through the halls of the small building. The halls were empty.

I was so relieved I got in the Scarlet Guard. I can't wait to start. But there is a small part of me that is terribly scared. I don't know what this job requires and I can only imagine the fear that this job holds. If we get found, I'm sure the queen will notice me. I can't even think about it. I have to just follow Kilorn and Farley. And just hope they know what they're doing.

"Well, look who it is." Kilorn said as a girl walked down the hall ahead of us.

I realized it was Mare Barrow. She looked different. She wore a dress she got from the palace. Her dark brown hair was curled and pulled up. Her brown eyes looked sad. I can only imagine how hard it must be for her in the palace. And I wondered how she got here and what she was risking.

"I'm still mad at you Kilorn." She smiled and hugged Kilorn.

"How are you here!? Aren't you going to get in trouble?" I whispered.

"Juliet! I missed you. And trouble!? Probably not. I'm sick of those Silvers. I can't stand being around them. I told them I would be in my room all day and I sneaked out." We all sat down on a bench in the hall.

"Wow. I hope you are ok."

"Yeah, I'm ready to start this revolution." She paused. "Oh and Juliet, thanks for delivering the note. I was nervous for the first Scarlet Guard meeting and I didn't know where I could go."

I didn't deliver the note. I dropped it and Maven picked it up.

"Wait- I didn't-"

"Mare, Farley needs to see you and your- guest. She's in the main hall." Kilorn interrupted me.

"Ugh. I thought I already figured this stuff out!"

"She doesn't trust him yet Mare!" Kilorn said.

It felt weird being left out with two of my best friends. They obviously knew things I didn't know. I tried to sink back in the bench and become invisible. The invisibility thing seems to only work when I really NEED to disappear. I haven't been able to just magically disappear yet.

Mare walked out and gestured for someone to follow her. Then the person I was least expecting to show up appeared. Maven Calore. He looked the same. Black suit, messed up black hair. He looked scared. Like he didn't know what to do.

I shot up from my seat and looked right at him.

"Juliet? What are you doing here?" He asked. Mare heard him and turned around.

"You know Prince Maven?" She asked me.

"Well, yeah, I was a uhh servant in the palace for a while." I didn't know if I should tell her.

"Juliet and I keep bumping into each other." He told Mare. He then turned to me. "I advise you to not be apart of this. If they find you-"

"What if they find you?! What is the Prince of Norta doing at the Scarlet Guard rebellion?" I said.

"Listen, I don't want anything to happen to you. This whole thing is too risky. What are a bunch of reds against silvers?" He whispered so no one else could hear him.

What are a bunch of reds against silvers? That's the question I've been asking myself this whole time.
