"Come on, Maya." Billy said.
"Who the hell throws a baby shower when you all may die soon?" I asked as Billy helped me out of the truck.
Esme and Bella decided to throw me a baby shower today because everyone is on edge with the pending battle with the Volturi.
"Honestly, I think they just want to distract themselves." Billy answered.
"There are plenty of things they could have done to distract themselves." I said.
Billy led me into the backyard where my totally not necessary baby shower was being held.
The first thing my eyes landed on was the beautiful decorations that were blue, green, and gold.
I noticed the long table with the blue and gold cloths draped over it.
It had a large fake cake made of little diapers as a centerpiece.
"Wow, okay this is too much." I said.
Everyone walked out of the house and greeted Billy and I including my parents.
"Honestly, I can't believe you guys made me a grandpa of three so soon." Charlie said.
"Hey, I'm a grandpa too." Billy said, pointing over to where Jacob and Leah were standing.
"I still can't believe." Charlie said.
Bella and Reneesme walked up to us.
"Aunt Maya do you like your baby shower?" Reneesme asked me.
I smiled.
"Yes, I do even though I think it's too soon for me to have one but thank you, Bella for throwing me a baby shower." I answered.
Reneesme handed me a gift.
"It's for the babies. Mommy said you're having twins so I got them something that they can do together." Reneesme said.
I took the gift from her.
"Thank you, I'll open it later with all the other gifts." I said.
"I'm glad you like it, Maya." Bella said.
"Good job." Billy said.
Bella smiled.
Rosalie walked up to us.
"Come on, let's get you off your feet." Rosalie said as she grabbed my arm, leading me to the huge chair decorated with the sign, mommy of two!
"Oh wow, so fancy." I said as I took a seat.
Everyone started coming up to me and handing me gifts and asking me if I was excited to have twins.
"Honestly, I'm not nerve as I was when I first found out but it's a little scary. Two little humans coming out of my vagina is truly unbelievable." I said.
"Language." Edward and Esme said at the same time.
"It's going to hurt like a bitch." Leah said, causing me to chuckle.
"I know right." I said.
Esme walked away, shaking her head while Edward just stared at us.
"Where the hell am I going to put all these things?" I asked as I looked at all the gifts.
"Don't worry, we're doing renovations on the house." Billy said.
"You're doing renovations when you might die soon." I said.
