Beomgyu's POV
All I could hear was HueningKai's pitiful cry for Yeonjun replaying over and over again in my head. Chasing after Taehyun, the long grass tickled our legs as we stomped them down, running with heavy steps. Why was HueningKai yelling for Yeonjun? Are they separated? Is Yeonjun okay? Repeatedly, I tried to attain a telepathic link with HueningKai but to no avail. It was as though something was blocking us, but what was it?
Soobin was frowning in concentration beside me and I could tell that he was trying to read HueningKai's mind as well. I glanced at him and he relaxed his eyebrows, shaking his head at me, which means that he had failed to read his mind. I sighed and continued to run after Taehyun alongside Soobin. "We're near them, come on!" Taehyun yelled.
I could feel myself starting to become breathless. Having never ran for such a long distance, I was starting to get extremely tired and I could tell the other 2 were also suffering. But was I going to stop running? No. Yeonjun and HueningKai needs us, needs me, and I wasn't going to let them down.
Namjoon's POV
"Hey, it's been about half an hour. Let's head back and meet the rest," I said, looking at my watch.
"Yeah...I don't think they're here, let's go," Seokjin nodded and pulled Taehyung gently, heading back to their meeting point. Within minutes, we were back where we started, looking around for the other two groups.
"HEY! Y'all didn't find them?" I yelled the moment Jungkook, Jimin and Yoongi appeared within my field of vision. They shook their heads simultaneously while Jungkook shouted back, "DID YOU?" I sighed and shook my head as well.
"Where's Soobin, Beomgyu and Taehyun?" Jimin asked curiously, looking around for any trace of them.
"I'm not sure, they aren't here, at least not yet. Do you think they found Yeonjun and HueningKai?" I said thoughtfully.
"Well, either ways, let's go down the path they took, we'll find them...hopefully," Seokjin led the way as we walked down the route that they took, praying silently in our hearts that they were fine.
Soobin's POV
We had been running for a full thirty minutes now. I was going to reach my limit any time soon, and if we don't find them within the next few minutes, I was going to collapse from exhaustion. Amongst the five of us, I was always the one who hated exercise with all my heart, refusing to go for runs with Yeonjun or visit the gym with Taehyun. This placed me in a huge disadvantage here, with both Beomgyu and Taehyun who were so much more athletic as compared to me. But my friends were waiting for me to save them, I couldn't waste any time. Taking in quick breaths, I pushed myself until we reached what seemed like a huge transparent dome.
