Soobin's POV
"LET ME GO!" I struggled against my assailant's tough grip on me. Bruises were definitely going to form on my wrists, judging by the way he was grabbing them. "Stop struggling, would you? It'll make the job much easier and I wouldn't have to knock you out," the assailant spoke with a deep voice. "Why don't you stop dragging me and we'll talk, huh?" I continued struggling, though it was quite obvious that he was much stronger than me.The assailant groaned, "I really want to knock you out but he'll probably be mad if I did." I stopped struggling for a moment, "who's the 'he'?'" Another groan could be heard, I could hear him internally cursing me. "Just shut up," he muttered under his breath, ignoring my question.
"Ah, Wonu, you're finally here, I almost thought that boy knocked you out or something," an unfamiliar voice rang out. My assailant scoffed, "yeah, as if he's able to even land a punch on me". Offended, I rolled my eyes and said, "rude, I can punch you if I-"
The assailant's friend (it seemed) merely chuckled at my words and gestured to his friend to follow him. I was dragged unceremoniously along by the tough assailant. Knowing that it would be a waste of energy for me to struggle against his grip, I could only let myself be pulled along.
"Wonu, you're here! Leader has been waiting for you for the past few minutes," another voice said. Who are Wonu and the Leader? It had to be code names, right? "You dragged him all the way?! You're so rude!" the same voice said, concern lacing his words.
"Who cares, my orders are simple, deliver the boy. It doesn't matter how I deliver him," my assailant huffed. "At least treat our guests well, Wonu, I'll carry him," the voice said. A few seconds passed, and just when I thought nothing was going to happen, I was thrown onto someone's shoulder. "Owie..." I groaned in pain as I tried to make myself more comfortable. Looking around, I realised that I finally had a good view of who my kidnappers are.
Wonu had dark brown hair, and looked rather like a cat with his sharp eyes. He was wearing a simple white turtleneck, a pair of jeans and a brown coat. He didn't look particularly strong, but after failing to escape from him, I daren't think about picking up a fight against him.
Wonu's friend had brown hair, and was wearing a plain white long-sleeved shirt paired with a pair of light brown pants and sports shoes. He looked like he was the youngest amongst the three of them.
Finally, I looked down at the boy who was carrying me. He had black hair, just like my assailant, and was wearing a white T-shirt, a pair of brown pants and a light brown cardigan. He definitely was a lot kinder than the other two, judging by the way he had volunteered to carry me when the other two were bent on simply dragging me.
"Ah, I've been waiting for ages, it's nice to finally meet you, Soobin," a voice said. I jerked back involuntarily and looked around my surroundings. I hadn't noticed that they had brought me into a room while I was looking at my assailants. A boy, clearly the one in charge of their group, smiled at me. He was wearing a white T-shirt, along with a pair of jeans and a checkered brown coat, as well as a pair of black boots. How did he know my name?
"I can read minds just like you, Soobin, you don't have to be so surprised about the fact that I know your name," the boy laughed, shaking his head at me. The boy who was carrying me set me down gently on the floor. "It's nice to see you treating him so nicely, Gyu. I bet Wonu and Dino just dragged him here," the boy raised his eyebrows at my two assailants, who rolled their eyes.
"Well then, Soobin, you must be wondering why I brought you here," the boy started, looking at me intensely. I nodded my head slowly, afraid that he might suddenly attack me. "Calm down, I won't attack you, unless you annoy me to my limits. I just want to make a deal with you!"
"What deal?" I asked curiously.
"Bring the rest of the boys here, to our headquarters."
"So, you're asking me to betray them? And lead them right into your trap? I will never do that." I yelled in anger.
"Oh, of course I knew you'd never agree. It's time for plan B, bring him in."
(A/N) happy new year, and here's to a better 2021! if you know who's the new group I brought into the story, congratulations! if you can't...well :( next chapter will be uploaded on thursday!
