Dipper POV

The moment set in slowly, I could feel each individual finger on my cheek and the press of his nails, almost as if he feared me running away if he let go. But I wasn't going anywhere, not when his lips fit so perfectly with mine, not when I could feel his lashes against my nose, not when every shared breath felt like my first.

To prove I wasn't leaving I pushed myself up into him, taking my weight off my arms and throwing them around his neck to stop myself from falling, he drew a sharp breath, his chest rising, as if it was the first time he had truly taken a full breath sense he grabbed me. But even still he pulled us back a little sitting me up straighter to keep us from both falling to the ground together.

He let one hand fall and wrap around my waist and the other creeped around to the back of my neck. I brought one hand to his hair and wrapped the other around to his shoulder, gripping on to his shirt. It felt like we couldn't get closer to each other no matter how hard we tried.

Well that was, till he pulled away.

"Wait," I breathed, completely out of breath. I opened my eyes to see he was still close as he also tried to catch his breath.

He shhhhhed me leaning his head on my shoulder, still holding me close. I ran my finger through his hair, leaning my head on his.

"Bill..." I whispered.

He shhhed me again.

"Bill," I laughed lightly, "Stop shhhing me."

He lifted his head up and met my eye, his glowed. I mean it, his eyes were literally glowing, it bathed his cheeks and nose in yellow sunlight like shin.

"I don't want to leave this moment." he whispered.

"Believe me, I don't want to either." I looked to the world around us, if left like during the kiss we were floating, like we were the only things in the world that existed. I was reminded that we were near his old statue and even though it was deep in the forest, it was not out of my grunkles reach. "You were right, I shouldn't stay out here."

"So now you wish to leave me," I could tell he was only half joking, I could still feel his heart beating fast as mine.

"No," I laughed, "I shouldn't be out where my Grunkles might find me. But that doesn't mean you can't come with me."

He smiled, "I would like to see where you've been staying now."

"Then we need to stand up." I muttered, not liking the idea of untangling from him.

"I know," He whined, but nevertheless he let go of me and sat back, pushing off the ground to stand up. He held his hand out to me, "Come on, lets go."

I smiled taking his stretched out hand, and even after he pulled me to my feet I didn't let go. Instead I used the momentum to pump into his chest and wrap my free hand up around the back of his neck, I placed a gentle kiss on his lips. Part of me feared that all this would end or go away once we left this little opening in the forest.

Before I pulled too far back his hand met the small of my back, pulling me in for another kiss. One filled with the promise that this was no mere moment and would not end here.

Again we pulled apart, and this time we let each other go.

I smiled at him, moving the hand on the back of his neck around to his check.

"I don't know why I did that, but I'm glad I did." I said, I felt him squeeze my hand.

"We can talk about it more later, but really we have to get out of the open. Think you can resist me for that long?" he smirked and I felt the hand on the small of my back inch down, just once. But I still felt it.
