Chapter 12: Alone time with Kurome

Y/N POV

I was in my room, thinking about what to do today

I was still upset against the CPU, as i refused all the call they gave me, or tell them i need time to think

I decided to call Kurome, and teach her the way of cooking, because she suck at it and i told her she will be my assistant

Kurome: Yes Y/N?

Y/N: Come to my house, i have to teach you how to cook

Kurome: Do i really have to?

Y/N: Please

Kurome: Urgh, okay i will be here in a few minute

Y/N: Thanks, i'm sure you will love it

Kurome: Being with you is what i love

Y/N: Oh you, i'm going to blush

She giggled a little before she hang up, as i prepared everything for the cooking lesson

Kurome: Waiting for me~?

She hug me from behind, as i smile

Y/N: Always has

She laugh a little before she looked at the tools, and smiled

Kurome: It would make great torture tools

Y/N: Don't, i'm cooking with this

Kurome: Just kidding, don't worry

I took out the groceries from the bag

Y/N: Today, will be a set of dessert, you're going to follow my saying so it can be finished faster

Kurome: You truly want me to cook huh?

Y/N: I'm never going back on my word

We started to cook, and i was surprised by how bad Kurome was at cooking

She managed to burn the water from the pot

She used two cup of milk instead of one

And she slipped so much that it was a like the floor wanted her to slip

Kurome: I hate cooking....

Y/N: Don't worry, you tried your best for a first time, and that's what truly important

She smiled at me, as we looked at the dish each of us made

One was a perfect pudding, it looked like it was created on heaven by god himself

The other one was a purple cake that had a face that cried "kill me", and it feels like it was full of poison

Kurome: If i wanted to kill the CPU, i just have to give them this cake

Y/N: That's not true, i'm sure it's delicious

I took a part on a plate, as Kurome looked at me shocked

I eat it, as i was looking down

Kurome: It's bad huh....

I patted her head, as i smiled

Y/N: For a first time, it's not that bad

She looked at me, shock, before a warm smile appeard into her face

Kurome: Thanks, you truly are the best

She gave me a quick kiss on the cheek, as i blushed a little

Kurome: Never tought you were the blushing one~

Y/N: I'm not a monster you known, of course i can blush 

Kurome: You're right....

She placed her head on my shoulder, as we stayed silent, enjoying this time

I was remembering my talk with Noire, as i frowned

Of course, Kurome noticed since she, uhhh, is the negative part of Uzume and can feel Negative feeling?

Kurome: You're talk with her bother you, huh?

Y/N: I won't ask how you know that, but yes, and to say, i'm kinda sad about it

Kurome: How so? You always seems to be happy, no matter what the time

Y/N: I know how to hide my emotion in check, that's why i always have a stoic face

Kurome: Not when you were blushing a few minute ago~

Y/N: S-Stop with that.... But seriously, i don't know what to do....

I looked down, as she could see my sad expression

Y/N: I am always doing what they want, i never complained about their doing, but they still protect me like i'm a burden, and i don't know how to protect myself

Kurome: Y/N.....

Y/N: I never said anything, because i didn't want to hurt their feeling, and always tought i did the right thing, but from the past event i'm starting to doubt

I looked at her, dead in the eyes, tears forming, and my voice cracking

Y/N: W-What i did was the good thing?

She hugged me, as i was shocked

Kurome: You always did the good thing, and always will

She smiled at me, but this time, a warm one

Kurome: You saved me after all, right?

My eyes widened, as i hugged her

Y/N: Thank you....

Kurome: Anything for you dear....

We stayed like that for a while, before i stand up, and get ready

My phone got a call, and see it was from Histoire

I answer it, after a time of conflict

Y/N: Hello?

Histoire: Y/N! Finnaly you answer our call!

Y/N: I needed time for the past event

Histoire: I understand, i wanted to ask you something

Y/N: Cheer the CPU?

Histoire: How did you knew?

Y/N: Come on, it always was my job to cheer them up after they got depressed and all

Histoire: I don't know how to thank you enough after everything you've done for them, for Gameindustry

Y/N: We can talk about that another time, okay?

Histoire: Of course, i will wait for you at the basilicom

She hang up, as i looked at Kurome, a smile on my face

Y/N: No rest for the heroes

Kurome: Of course, and i know you will do great

I walked to her, and kissed her on the lip

Y/N: That's a "thank you" kiss

Kurome: I want to know the "i love you" kiss right now~

Y/N: Well, the CPU can wait an hour, right?

Kurome: I love that idea
