The room swam in and out of Mary's vision. She blinked in the brightly lit room. She was alone in a cell-type room. You couldn't exactly call it a cell because it was very open and there was a table in the middle of the room. On the table was a plate, there was also a small bed in the opposite corner to Mary. She noticed a camera in the far left hand corner of the room and shivered anxiously. Mary found herself sitting in the corner of the room leaning against the two walls. She had new clothes on and her wounds had been treated. She pulled up her knees to her chest and winced as the tight jeans scrapped over her still raw knees. She rested her head on her knees and sobbed quietly.

'What happened to Jake? Is he still alive? And Meg? What if they had died? What is this place?  Why am I here? Help!' Mary's thoughts swirled around her and forced her into deeper sobs

'What happened to Jake? Is he still alive? And Meg? What if they had died? What is this place?  Why am I here? Help!' Mary's thoughts swirled around her and forced her into deeper sobs.

"Are you alright Mary?" asked a business woman. Her green eyes reminded Mary of the wolf from last night. She had seen her briefly through her window then Meg had rushed in. Her black hair was down covering her ears. She was wearing boots this time and they didn't quite go with her business outfit. Her face showed a look of concern and care. Mary felt obliged to tell her everything she was worried about, but she didn't trust this woman. She seemed too concerned about her. Mary had also just been kidnapped by this woman. "My name is Sasha, but please call me Miss Wulf," added Sasha. "Yes Miss Wulf," answered Mary with more politeness in her voice that what was required for this evil woman. "Good, now when you feel better go to the door and I will meet you there," the concern and kindness melted away and Sasha was back to being cold and icy. "Yes Miss Wulf," responded Mary. Sasha turned and clomped out the room. It wasn't very elegant. Mary thought about how she changed tones so fast. It reminded her of The Boss. 'They are definitely related. Well no use sitting around waiting'.

Mary carefully stood up and wandered over towards the door. As she reached for the door handle a guard opened it from the other side and escorted her to a very elegant room where Sasha sat on a leather chair. Sasha motioned for her to sit opposite and shooed the guard out. Mary stumbled over to the chair and sat down stiffly.

"Well, Mary what was your mother like and what were her secrets?" asked Sasha getting right to the point. Sasha lent one leg over the other and gave her a hard stare. Mary's head drooped and she sighed. 'So she wants information does she? Fine I'll give her information all right.'  "My mother was like any mother, she was kind and lovely, her main secret was cooking. She was really good at it," answered Mary matter-of-factly.  Sasha picked up that she was avoiding the question,"Ok smart girl, what was Helen Lupus hiding from me? You know what it is so don't try being smart with me!" Mary was worried now. The letter had said that if it fell into the wrong hands their way of living and life would cease to exist. This woman was certainly the wrong hands so Mary answered as politely as she could,"I don't know. My mother told me stories of a powerful half-wolf named Adal and nothing more. I have been back to our old house since but I couldn't find anything or remember anything either." Sasha stared at her. Sasha's emerald eyes felt like they could see straight through Mary. Sasha finally remarked,"Alright girly, then we'll do it the hard way then since you won't answer me truthfully." Sasha whistled loudly through the open door and two guards burst into her office. "Take her downstairs, to the south-wing of the building," announced Sasha to the guards. They started towards Mary. Mary winced as their strong arms grabbed her and picked her up. She hated this woman and she missed her half-wolf family. This woman had caused her too much pain and enough was enough.

Mary glared at Sasha while she was being hoisted into the air and slung over a guard's shoulder. Mary let out a low growl from her stomach. She was mad at being treated like this. Before she could register what was happening her skin crawled and fur appeared. Mary transformed before their eyes. The guard that was carrying her dropped her in shear panic. Sasha looked taken aback but she quickly recovered. She shoved the confused guards outside and slammed the door shut. Sasha locked the door and turned towards the snarling Mary.

"So we are going to settle this wolf style huh?" Sasha sneered. Sasha went down on all fours and white fur prickled through her clothes as they disappeared. Sasha smiled at her, it wasn't a friendly smile. Sasha meant business. Sasha winced briefly as her wounded ear flickered dangerously. Her left back paw was still in plenty of pain, Mary noticed it in the way Sasha strutted towards her. 'I can use that to my advantage, I don't have much skill or training in fighting but it has to work.' Mary was still in slight disbelief that she had managed to transform again but she knew she had to get out of here and wound Sasha.

"Now girly don't try screaming or anything because this room is sound proof and camera free!" jeered Sasha. "Well you were going to be so useful to me. But now that you're a wolf we can settle things the wolf way," added Sasha. Mary just growled and stood her ground like Meg had done in the tunnel.
