Chapter 26: Silence...

The Boss's paws beat against the snowy floor as he sped up. He fled into the mass of fighting. Jaws wide and snarling, he rushed into battle. 

The Boss bolted straight towards Sasha, elbowing and nipping flesh to get to her. Sasha saw him and looked pale, wasn't he dead? She thought to herself in confusion. There was no one left to separate the wrestling siblings as The Boss sprung up and crashed down on his sister. His teeth scarred her side brutally and she howled in agony. "I am going to kill you once and for all!" yelled Sasha as she returned a forceful blow to The Boss's back. Blood dripped from both their bodies as they circled each other slowly. 

Lilly was fighting against her own as they looked at her bewildered and frustrated. Lilly's new learnt techniques were paying off as she surprise attacked a warrior from behind and easily knocked him down. His throat was between her teeth within seconds. It wasn't long before Lilly was attacked by another warrior, she wiggled free and spun around to face the large she-wolf warrior. Her back leg was bleeding and paining but the rush of the fight kept her up and fighting to win. A low rumble escaped the wolf's snarling mouth and Lilly soon realized she was gonna fight the very teacher who had taught her so long ago. Betrayal flickered across the female warrior's face but it was quickly replaced by growing fury. Lilly snarled and fought with all her might. 

Jake was caught between two aggressive warriors. The warriors approached him baring their fangs. Jake's back leg muscles rippled with effort as he propelled himself into the air and into the first warrior. Using his momentum, Jake slammed his fangs into the warrior's back and clawed his way to the warrior's neck. The warrior bucked and struggled against Jake's solid grip on his throat. The warrior soon went down easily as his airways closed. The other warrior raced towards Jake with immense force. Jake turned around to face him and swiped at the warrior but he missed, when Jake was off balance the warrior ducked under Jake and knocked him to the floor. Jake hit the ground with huge force but he sprung back onto his feet within seconds and faced his opponent with rage. 

A large and strong wolf looked down at Liam and scoffed. The warrior attacked Liam but Liam used his speed to his advantage and tripped the bigger wolf. The warrior was startled for a second but he was up quickly and smashed his claws into Liam's face. Liam wiped the blood from his face on the snow in pain and gripped the warrior by his neck. Liam sunk his bared teeth into the warrior's flesh. The warrior flicked his head vigorously and swung Liam off. The warrior bit Liam on the shoulder while Liam was slightly dazed. Liam's yelp mixed into the rest of the swirling growls and howls. The warrior closed in for the kill, but Liam kicked his face and used the warriors long snout to flip himself back onto his feet. Liam re-positioned himself and stood his ground as the warrior approached him once more. 

Mary was working with one of the females from the south warrior pack that had joined with them to take down Sasha. The two of them were fighting against three irate warriors. Mary grabbed one of their legs and managed to shove the warrior off balance, while biting into the warrior's flesh. The other female, whose name was Zamora, slammed the second warrior into the warrior that Mary had tackled to the ground. The third warrior attacked Mary while Zamora pinned the other two to the floor. Mary struggled in the warrior's strong grip around her neck. Black spots began invading her vision when another wolf knocked her out of the warrior's mouth. The other wolf then fled into the mass of fighting and took down one of Sasha's warriors. The warrior bared his teeth angrily at Mary who had just escaped his death grip. 

 Mary quickly stood her ground and her head smashed into the warrior's mouth. A white tooth broke loose from the warrior's mouth and flew across the stained snow. This caused the warrior to howl in pain. He thought quickly and jumped onto Mary's back and swung her into the floor. Mary responded with a strong kick into the warrior's back legs. The warrior hit the floor and Mary delivered the killing bite while the warrior was down. 

Meg managed to strike one of Sasha's warriors and wound the warrior's shoulders. The female warrior threw herself into the snow, throwing Meg off her back. Meg laded perfectly on the snow. Meg swung around and swiped the warrior in the face, the warrior ducked skillfully and intercepted Meg's swing at her. Meg's nose froze as her face smashed into the icy snow. Meg looked up and into the monstrous eyes of the warrior. 

Meg dodged the snarling teeth as they smashed into the snow right where her neck had been just a few seconds ago. Meg rapidly got up and attacked the warrior brutally.

A heartfelt howl pierced the air and immediately silenced the brawling packs. 

A large white wolf slowly climbed down the bank of the ditch, her fur was snow white. She was stunning, her fur shimmered in the moonlight. She stopped in front of The Boss and the dead Sasha. She stood on two paws and skin replaced her shimmering fur.

The woman stood there displeased. She looked right at The Boss and most of the dead warriors of Sasha's pack. 

"A-Adal?" questioned The Boss in a quivering voice.
