The Rejects grew ever closer day after day. Despite what you might think, there were still things that they disagreed about, but the longer that they remained The Rejects to the public eye the less it was fighting, and the more it was a domestic squabble.
Their dynamics were strengthened and new ones born. Over all it would seem that there was good being done for them in the whole situation. At least, that's what they liked to tell themselves. They all couldn't help but feel guilty about leaving.
All means to an end.
Shoto went on his first mission a week after getting recruited. Everyone was very positive, and hyping him up for it. They explained how it works and that they can't wait to have him join. This time, they were stopping a human trafficking ring.
Shoto felt more related to those people, and was ready to kick some ass. (So was everyone else. They all hate people who treat other humans as objects). Still, he had no idea what to expect, and neither did anyone else. They did as much as they could to be informed but there was so much that they didn't know that they were a lot more nervous about this one than the others.
Shoto did not expect for Toga to be so excited to help him pick out an outfit. He expected Midoriya- the hero fan of the family- to react like this. So, when Toga pulled him off to the side and excitedly showed him a sketch of his costume, he did know what to do.
What he did do, though, was a silent thumbs up.
His outfit was basic. It was a suit, that down the center split from black to white. White was on the right side, and black on the left. It fit pretty well, and when he got it from Sensei he was happy.

The warehouse was in the middle of nowhere, and surrounded by low level thugs. They worked together to take them down quietly and efficiently. They sneaked into the building and stared in horror for a moment. The it was filled wall to wall with people of all ages stuck in cages.
Shoto decided not to go easy on the people who were walking around casually.
Midoriya watched as one particular thug walked up to one of the cages and opened it with a key. He silently signaled to everyone that it was probably a universal key that works on all of the cages. It was very important that they kept that in mind.
Dabi was the first one to go in. He tapped someone on the shoulder, and punched them in the face once they turned around. Toga was the second one, and did a Vagus strike on an unsuspecting guard. By then someone had noticed their presence and alerted everyone else.
That's when all hell broke lose. The people all set out to attack them at once, and this put them at an advantage. Not only were they watching their opponents, they had to watch each other to make sure they don't accidentally cause damage to each other, so their focus on each was a little hindered.
The human traffickers were all trained separately as well. So, even though they work good apart, they didn't work together all too well. The Rejects, on the other hand, trained for everything. They focused a lot on working together. They worked perfectly in sync and it was throwing off the human traffickers.
Soon, everyone was knocked out and tied up. To be honest, Shoto was a little disappointed. He wanted a bit more of a fight. (He may or may not have noticed Toga kicking one of the unconscious guys in the nuts, but didn't say anything. That's her business).
They grabbed the key from the one guy and started to let people out. They all hated how beaten up that the people looked. How skinny they were. Hitoshi pushed the thought of Aizawa, Nemuri, and Hizashi chained up looking even worse than the people here.
