Dabi stared in horror as Sensei transformed into a taller man with... with no face. Honestly, he looked like a baked potato. NOT THE POINT!

Sensei was the faceless man. What was he going to do?

He needed help, first of all. He ran to his room, and jotted down a note, rushing back to the living room. He started up mindless conversation.

"Hey, guys!" He slipped the note over to Shigiraki first. 'Sensei is the faceless man, we need to run. We will pretend to go to sleep tonight, pack up, and head to the spot. pass it on'. Shigiraki stared at the note for a moment before handing it on.

"Hey, dumbass." Shigiraki used a voice to speech app that Sensei had gotten him. The next person to get the note was Toga.

"Sup loser." She leaned over Hitoshi's shoulder and pressed it into his arm. "Wanna lose at Mario Kart again, later?"

Dabi snorted. "Yeah, I'll be the one losing. You're on." Make plans with someone, make sure the people around that could be listening don't think you would leave.

After Hitoshi read the note, he passed it to Shoto beside him. They both kept moderately stone faces, making a little comment here and there in the conversation.

Finally, the note got passed to Midoriya. By then Midoriya knew something was up. The topic they were talking about felt too normal. Everyone participated, and everyone was in the moment. Usually, one of them was on their phone, one was eating, and the other was reading soemthing while at most 3 people had a conversation. It was very VERY rare for them all to be so interested in the conversation, unless something was up.

He was wary when opening the letter. He knew that he needed to keep a stone face when reading it, so he made sure the disconnect as much as humanly possible, which he had been growing increasingly good at.

He nodded at them, and they nodded back. The plan was ready.

That night, Midoriya packed everything he found necessary: clothes, money, toothbrush, toothpaste, food, water, and some extra coats and socks. He went directly to the spot, and didn't say anything. He left through the window.

When he got there, Dabi and Shoto were waiting, and already curled up in some blankets. The spot is an abandoned warehouse that they cleaned out a week ago, and knew would remain empty. They set up their stuff there and went there whenever they needed to unwind.

He sat down next to Shoto, and leaned into his warm side. The building didn't exactly have heating, so he would make do. Shoto didn't seem to mind. Toga showed up next, and leaned into Midoriya's lap. That was then followed by Hitoshi, and Shigiraki.

They sat there in silence for a moment.

"This blows."

Dabi snorted. The blunt voice of the text to speech app added some comedy to it.

"Yeah, I would say."

Midoriya remained silent. He was thankful that he already brought a few empty notebooks, books, and other entertainment things here.

They would need to lie low. He knew he probably couldn't go back to his family, and he knew that the faceless man was out of the picture. They were officially homeless.

That blows.

---------------

They slept in small piles that night. According to everyone else, Midoriya was a human heater, so the teams were split up into: Midoriya and Toga, Dabi and Shigiraki, and Shoto and Hitoshi. They kept warm as best as they could, and they made do with what they had.
