It was on that almost fatal day that the small girl met two little boys. Indeed she dyed her hair purple in honor of the lanvanderette that saved her, but the other one caught her eye. He was a brunette, like her friend Freddy, but with a whole different personality. He cared about her more than other people did. While she was getting bullied at school, he was the only one brave enough to stand up for her. After their little skirmish on the beach, they two began to spend more time together.

When she was seven and he was eight, he had invited her over to his house for a "play date". His house was a lot bigger than her's, his having five bedrooms and three bathrooms. Her's only had about one or two of each.

The little boy already had everything planned out before the girl came over. To him she was very cute, and he didn't want to upset her. He had a list of everything they would do that day, and it went a little something like this.

"Mikey's List of Awesome Things!"

1: When she comes over we will start off by watching tv.

2: After we are bored of that we can play in my room.

3: Then I want to take her to the park. I want her to know how special she is to me.

Now he was only eight years old, so he didn't have a grasp on what real love was but he was convinced this was the girl of his dreams.

There was a small knock on the door and Mikey wasted no time to reach to the door. Once he opened it a small girl wearing a purple dress with plastic green emeralds stood behind it. Her hair fell behind her back and in this point of time it was still brown. It didn't matter either way to Mikey, he liked her anytime of the year.

He gave her a big smile and beckoned her inside of his house. He could see her crimson eyes looking around his palace of a house surprised. Not many people usually came over to his house, so he wanted to make this trip extra special. She put the work into coming here anyways.

He took her hand and led her towards a smaller room. Even though it was smaller it had a wide tv, two couches, and a giant coffee table in the center of it all.

The black remote was on the clear table, which Mikey bent down to grab. He pressed the small red button on the top of the remote and the tv whirred to life. It was on Spongebob, Mikey's favorite show, and the girl seemed to be enjoying it also. Every once in awhile they would both start laughing uncontrollably from some joke one of the characters made.

Not like other kids, Mikey didn't have a short attention span. He could keep watching this show for hours on end. The girl, on the other hand, seemed to be getting bored. By the way she acted little Mikey concluded that she probably didn't want to go to his room. He would have to change up the schedule a little bit, but it was fine with him.

He took her to the kitchen where his mom was making dinner. She turned around and gave both of the small children a warm smile. She then waved and beckoned them to her side. When they got there she handed them both a small spoon with a yellow-ish liquid in the depression.

Both children took a small sip of the liquid and their faces lit up. Mikey's mom was making them lemonade! It was Mikey's favorite drink of all time, and he always loved to drink it when he had company.

They both sat down at the table with their legs swinging around aimlessly. They didn't really know what to say to each other, but they had an attempt at small talk.

"Sooo, how's life?" Mikey started with. The small girl looked over at him with a curious glance. She obviously didn't expect him to talk at all.

She just smile and nodded without saying anything. That's one thing that Mikey liked about her, that she wasn't afraid to keep her emotions inside. To him it only made her cuter.
