Katie's POV
I stared in shock as he commanded the goop to let go of her. I was about to get up and give this idiot a piece of my mind, but Audrey held me down. She told me that they had planned for the worst.
This was the worst.
Audrey told me that while the rest of us were asleep, they (she and Melanie) walked around and studied the potential places anyone could get injured or fall off. This was one of them. She told me that at the bottom of the cliff there was a ravine and if Melony landed properly, she would be completely fine.
Zach chuckled before standing up straight and walking in circles.
"Audrey?" Zach cooed, bending down. "Big brother is here. I saw you before. Come on out now! The monster is gone!"
Audrey looked like she was having a hard time staying down. I still don't know the fully story, but Audrey must have been close to Zach before.
I had a hard time staying down too. He called my sister a monster! He is so going down.
I stood up, turned invisible, then crept closer to him. I knew I couldn't stay in this state for too long, so I had to get this done. Should I push him off the cliff too? No. Then this turns to Melanie's battle, and I'm positive she can't fight it alone.
Throw him? I doubt I can carry him.
I created clones of myself and became visible again.
"Katie?" He said. "Nice try. I know which one is the real you."
I gulped, but when he threw a blob of purple at the wrong multiple, he became embarrassed.
I shot a ball of heated water at him. He hissed in pain, bending down to check on his ankle. I ran over and kicked him.
He groaned as I shoved him to the cliff. I pushed him off, but he held on with some goop.
"I'm not going down that easily." He smirked.
"Yes, you are." I said, using my powers to slow drip extremely hot water onto his goop stuff.
The goop slowly melted away from the edge, and Zach panicked.
"Bye bye." I smiled, waving to him as he fell to his doom.
Did Melanie fall and get hurt? Or worse...pass on? I sure hope not.
I stared down the ravine. I saw blood stained rocks, but I didn't know if it was Melanie's blood or Zach's blood.
I signaled Audrey to come over, she ran over to me and gasped.
"Who's blood is that?" I asked nervously.
"I'm not sure. I would say we teleport but I can only teleport once a day."
"Its midnight. Does that count?"
"Yeah, but how would we get back up?"
"You're right."
"Can you teleport?" She asked.
"I can try." I held my hand out, waiting for her to grab it. Once I held her hand securely, I focused on being transported down the ravine.
Once I opened my eyes, we were still in the same place.
"Let's just teleport down and tomorrow teleport up."
"Okay."
We teleported down, and saw Melanie stained with blood, leaning against a rock. She wasn't moving!
I ran over to her and shook her vigorously.
"Melanie!" I sobbed, tears springing to my eyes. "Melanie, wake up! I'm so sorry, this is all my fault!"
Audrey came over to me.
"I checked Zach's pulse. He's dead."
"What about Melanie? Is she still alive?" I sobbed.
Audrey placed two fingers on Melanie's wrist.
"Barely." Audrey sighed, getting back up on her feet. "We need to move fast."
"So there's no way we can heal her? No powers or anything?" I asked, calming down a bit.
"Not that I know of, but we can try. Give me both of your hands." She said, holding out her hands.
She took one of my hands and placed it over Melanie's heart. She put her hand over mine.
"Just think about...healing her." Audrey said, closing her eyes and taking a deep breath.
I copied her, and soon noticed that we began glowing a bright, pale yellow colour. Both Audrey, Melanie and my own hair began floating up, along with a gush of wind bursting from the three of us. The yellow turned to blue and flew around us in circles, like a tornado.
It was done with the light, wind and flashy show, but she still wasn't up.
"Melanie! Wake up!"
Ahhhhhhhh
I'm dying help meh
