Get it together, they say.

Keep your emotions in checked, they say.

Don't yield to that useless fit of anger, they still say after all these years.

Unfortunately, for the Tsuyuri Kanao, she had decided to abandon her emotional principles as she chose to fight to her heart's content when her old archenemy, who she was so sure of slicing his head off together with Inosuke back in her younger days, appearing healthy and jumpy before her and preparing to take her head as his eternal trophy. Right, ironically speaking she just couldn't believe this and yet what surprised her the most is how easily she could accept the fact that Douma has been revived and her and everybody else's hard work to finish him off in the Last Fight almost felt fruitless. By hard work, also meant sacrifices- by which rigidly pointing at Kochou Shinobu's predetermined death, and currently breathing her second chance of life by the miracle of this world yet again.

Well, of course Douma could've gotten his second chance at living, if it was possible by Shinobu in the first place.

Kanao sighs a long breath with her raised sword pointing to Douma's tempting neck, her one good eye throbbing at how limited her range of view expanding. This could be a suicidal battle for herself, adding salt to the injury when Kaburamaru isn't here for her to support her handicap. Oh, yes, the damage to her right eye was due to the Final Form of Flower Breathing that she used against Douma in the Last Fight, another sacrifice to tick off the checklist. Fruitless, maybe.

"Haaaah, why do you have to fill me with pointless regrets like this?" She can't bear the thought of keeping this to herself so she shouts it out, directly blaming Douma for that.

Douma reacts by shrugging his overly broad shoulders which contained more muscles perking toward his ears, "Can't say I'm not enjoying that look on your face, quite tempting to boot." Him licking his upper lip so openly after that sentence had Kanao shivered in pure disgust.

"Before we clash, let's see..." Kanao gives him a once-over before blinking back into focus. "You look... unsettling than last time, I'm starting to miss that creepy red turtleneck you wore, traditional clothes aren't your best suit, I see."

True to Kanao's words, Douma looked slightly odd in floral-and-leaves patterned kimono with greenish darkened sleeves rolled up to flex his veiny arms and elbows, black hakama pants secured by a brand new uwa-obi where its ends slightly crooked in a worrying way. There's something concerning about his facial complex though, from how pale as paper he looks, to the foreign blots of green scattering across his skin; to put things simply Douma almost resembled a mutant lizard, if not for his usual flawless features that remain unbothered by mild decorations as stated before. His platinum blond hair was cut shorter to barely brushing his shoulders, and he does a tiny ponytail to secure the stray strands behind his ears in its rightful place. All in all, Kanao had openly downgraded his overall new appearance as compared to the last season.
