Yushiro's Hideout,

KANAO'S POV

I wrote down a simple letter that contained details about what had happened to Hamada Family hence about Yurika-Chan too. The pen in my hand shakes hard and it effected my neat handwriting, the pain that crumples in my heart changed every perceptions I want to take. I shoved my negative vibes away, and give my best to write this letter until a great finish.

Not much I said about it anyway, as I assumed it will be better if I explains this matter infront of Oyakata-Sama by tomorrow morning. So I would just pen off my letter after those necessary information filled most in it. I huffed hard, let the pen fall from my grip as I slowly fold that paper until it become a small piece. I took a small red string on the table beside me, luckily I didn't misplaced it anywhere.

I adjusted my sitting position; resting my arms on the desk I've been using to write the letter earlier. It's happening too fast, I can't even make it to stop Yurika-Chan from torturing her own family. Why I felt very useless now? Is it because of my promise? What did I promise to this Hamada family?

I turned my head over my shoulder; the sight of Hamada Aishito laid on the bed with a pale face tortured my heart the most. She fainted after Yushiro-Kun brought her into his mansion because of her wounds. I'm glad that cold demon had treated Aishito-Chan's injured parts well. This girl was too young to lose her parents, she was too young bear all this alone. She had to be strong no matter what, and I'll never leave her side from now on.

Minato-Kun..must be so upset about this news when he woke up later.
About Minato-Kun, I'll deal with him politely. Explanations..might work if I take a slow talk to him, it might be worser if I didn't.

*HISSED~
The fine hissing made by Kaburamaru makes me feel better a bit, he nuzzled his tiny head on my right cheek. It's like he's forming a circle to cheer me up and it did work. I let out a small chuckle to signal him that his effort worths it.

"You would always knew how to convience me, aren't you?" I cracked a smile to him, and he replied with two hisses. "..I would take that as a yes."

*knock. knock.
Two hard knocks didn't startling me at all, but I felt irritated by hearing it. An irk mark grew on my forehead once I turned around to spot a figure with a stern face walking into the room.

"My~ My~ Yushiro-Kun, why don't you just replace that giant door of yours with a curtain instead? You could've make Aishito-Chan awake from her sleep," I uttered with a soft voice.

"That's out of my concern, I don't care about her anyway."
He stated while glaring his lavender eyes to Aishito-Chan. Just for a second.

Uh--huh, I would like to burst into barrels of laughter just then. Although I only have one clear vision, it's still useful for me to peer at his concern reaction.

Hum..something's changed about this demon nowadays. I can easily spot it.

"Oh..okay, then. Just now, Aishito-Chan was crying in her sleep..but thank goodness I was here to calm her down."
I adjusted my voice into a sympathy tone, even Kaburamaru on my shoulder nods as he supporting my lies on this demon.

"THE HELL SHE'S---WHAT!?"
Yushiro-Kun didn't ask anything and he almost push me just to get by Aishito-Chan's side. He shifted his gaze at Aishito-Chan's face; looking for any shed of tears that I simply lied to be there. "I don't see any tears on her cheeks.."

"Yeah..says the demon who just now stated that he don't care about Aishito-Chan's condition,"
Kanao shrugs while tapped her index finger on Kaburamaru's tiny head; resembling a 'high five'.
