"Y/N, are you sure you want to do this?" Asked my mum.
"Yes, me and Sarah have been planing this forever!" I said as I hugged her tightly. "I'm sorry I have to leave right now, especially with you and dad fighting and... finding out what he did."
"Now, now. Let's not speak of him, this is a day for me and you!" She said as she walked over to the cupboard.
I heard rustling as she turned around with 2 bags and a box.
"Happy 18th baby! I can't believe it's been 18 years since I had you, I can remember it like yesterday." She said as a single tear rolled down her cheek.
"Mum! Don't cry! Your going to make me cry!" I said as I sat on the couch next to her.
She handed me the smallest bag first, it was no bigger than a pack of cars and weighed no more than an egg. I looked at her slightly confused as the size and weight baffled me.
"Wha-"
"Don't ask questions silly! Just open it!" She said in excitement.
I rolled my eyes with a smile as I ripped the tape that sealed the tiny bag.
"... Car keys? OH MY GOD! SERIOUSLY?!" I asked in excitement as I realised what was happening.
"Yep! I have a good paying job so it's not a cheap second hand one either." She said as she grabbed my arm and pulled me out the front.
(Author's note: for the sake of the story, I'm going to go with a car I like, feel free to change it if you don't like it. ^~^)
As we made it outside my eyes fell on a beautiful blue, brand new, Ford Mustang GT Convertible. My mouth fell open, I couldn't say a word!

"You like it?" Asked my mum with a giant smile.
"... Umm, like is an understatement." I said as she laughed. "Is it really for me? Can I touch it?"
"Of course it's for you silly! Go ahead, get in, take it for a spin!" She said as she chucked me the keys.
Slowly a smile spread across my face that could even beat Jeff as I ran to hug her before running over and carefully getting into my new car, I ran my hands over the steering wheel before sliding in the key and starting the car. It came to life with a rev of its engine as I smiled from ear to ear.
"GO! Hurry up! I want to see you open your other presents so go for a spin!" Said my mum as she took a picture of me in my car.
I pressed down on the break pedal before taking of the hand break and moved my foot from break to accelerator, the car moved forward as I looked before pulling out of the driveway. I quickly took off for a lap around the block as the wind blew my hair about from the open roof.
