Moving pt 2

As we pulled up to the house that me and Sarah had been saving for years to move into, so many ideas came to me on what to do to renovate it.

"You didn't tell me this place was so huge!" I said as Sarah giggled.

"It's close to the mansion too." Said Jeff as the kittens fell asleep on the dash of the car.

"Oh cool! So we'll be able to visit you guys more often!" Said Sarah as she rested her head on Toby's shoulder.

"D-Definitely." Said Toby as he put his arm around Sarah.

"Ok! Let's get inside already! I can't wait anymore! Chuck me the keys so I can get the door open!" I said excitedly as we all stepped out of the car.

*We've been moving bits and pieces into this place for months, Sarah's aunt left this place to her when she died and we've just finished paying off everything to get the place liveable. It's been empty for years and needed some TLC, we had electricians, plumbers and various other people in to get the place up and going again.* I thought as I turned the key flung the door open.

"AHHH! Sarah! Look at this place!" I said excitedly. "All our hard work has paid off! All that furniture and things we saved up and moved in slowly look AMAZING!" I said as she giggled.

"Yeah, I cant believe we saved up so much! Your mum helped a bit too." She said as she placed the two kittens in a little pen.

"I can see you we plenty prepared for the kittens." I laughed as they ran around and play fought each other.

"Well, I planned for one, I didn't realise Jeff was getting one as well, the pen holds two just as well as one." She said as she watched them play.

I walked over and checked the kittens ears.

"What are you doing?" Asked Jeff.

"AWESOME! Neither of them are desexed! If they're desexed then they get a special tattoo in their ear, since they're not desexed and ones male and the other is female, we can breed them and have kittens later on!" I said happily as I imagined all the adorable little kittens running around.

"Now, remember, our rooms are on opposite ends of the house, if Jeff is over I don't wanna hear you two going at it like rabbits, and likewise you won't hear me and Toby." Said Sarah with a smirk as both mine and Toby's faces turned red.

"S-Sarah! I don't thi-"

"Don't even deny it! Your 18 now, your a big girl who's in a house with a room of her own! If you plan on going at it, just gimme a heads up that I'll need headphones for the night." She said with a wink as she grabbed Toby's hand and pulled him towards her room. "Come on Toby, you can help me set up my room."

"I-I'm so sorry about her! She doesn't have a filter and likes to call it as she sees it." I said as Jeff chuckled.

"It's fine, and back to her topic, I won't do anything unless your comfortable." He said as he kissed my forehead.

I blushed slightly as we picked up my boxes and carried them to my room.

*Overall in the house, there are 4 rooms, we kept the largest one free so we could turn it into an at home cinema and gaming room. We're going to install a white roll up screen, a projector and some bean bags or super comfortable couches so we can have movie nights. Then at the back of the room we'll have tables with computers for gaming with a mini fridge/freezer for drinks and cold snacks. As for the smaller room, we kept it open for any pets we may get, looks like it'll be put into use sooner than expected, but I guess Sarah would've thought of that and it's probably already got stuff waiting to be set up.* I thought as we opened the door to my room. 

"Woah, nice set up!" Said Jeff as he set the box he was carrying on my bed. "Queen bed, giant built in wardrobes, a desk and plenty of storage room."

"Yeah, I don't know, I guess I like the idea of knowing where everything is, most of the visible storage out here will be craft, photography and other hobby stuff I decide to pick up." I said as I started to put everything away.

"Fair enough, only makes sense I guess. You have a good room so if you do it up it could look pretty kick ass." He said as he looked around.

"That's my plan, I want a photo wall here, have a nice desk set up here with a tv here and room for a computer or laptop here plus room for any work or craft I wanna do, plenty of storage for everything and a big enough space on the floor for a nice carpet maybe?" I said as I moved around the room planning everything out.

"You've really put some thought into this huh?" He chuckled. "That's good, I love it when your motivated, it's so cute how you get so focused on what your doing."

I blushed with a chuckle as I rubbed the back of my neck, I walked over to Jeff as he sat on my bed and sat on his lap so I was facing him.

"I love you." I smiled before kissing him.

"I love you too baby, is it ok if I spend the night here?" He asked as he pulled me closer and buried his face in the crook of my neck.

"Of course, the house is always open to you and Toby, me and Sarah even had keys cut for you guys so you don't have to climb through the windows anymore." I giggled as I pulled a spare key out of my back pocket.

"Thank you, if you'll let us, me and Toby would like to take care of dinner tonight." He said as he placed a soft kiss to my neck.

"Well, I planned on making butter chicken with my special spice mix but if you insist, I can just cook tomorrow night?" I said as I traced circles on his back.

"Oh, your cooking sounds good, maybe we could help you instead?" He offered.

"If that's what you want, I'd really like that, thank you." I giggled happily. "We can make it a group activity, I'll see if Sarah and Toby wanna help later on."

"Sounds good to me." He said before placing more kisses on my neck.

"Wanna go see how the kittens are doing?" I asked as he nodded.

We left the room and met Sarah and Toby half way.

"Hey you two, where you headed?" Asked Sarah.

"To see the kittens." I smiled.

"So we're we! We wanna get some playtime with them in before tea." She said.

"Speaking of which, Jeff said he and Toby wanted to cook for us but since I already planned on making butter chicken, I thought it'd be good if we all made it together!" I said as Sarah nodded.

"Sounds like fun! What do you think Toby?" She Asked.

"S-Sounds good to me." He smiled.

Over the next few hours we played with the kittens and talked about anything and everything before it got later and we headed to the kitchen to start cooking, overall we had a great first day in our new house and eventually got tired after watching a few movies, we went to our rooms and fell asleep after one of the best birthdays I've had.
