A few days later

Kirishima being the curious spirit he was thought it would be a great opportunity to really see if cats landed in their feet but his methods weren't the safest. He was planning to drop me in his dragon form watching me turn and see if I could roll fast enough to land on the king. It was risky but I was willing to prove a point!

We all had completed our duties for the week so we had the rest of the week to spend time together. "Dumb hair, You sure this is safe?" Bakugo had turned into the 'overprotective Mom' friend since Kirishima had suggested the idea back at the castle.

"Sure, as long as you catch her at the right time" I raised my hand "there's one other thing. My claws - I don't want to hurt you when I land so just say the word if you want me to get off, okay?" The king's hand smoothed my ears "you kidding?! You couldn't hurt me if you tried!"

I brought my hand into view and retracted my claws showing him just what I was talking about. Something lit up in his eyes making me feel guilty for showing him that side of myself "I-I can take it, dumbass" I bit my lip nervously "what's that look for?! You doubting me, kitty cat?!" My other hand shot up in surrender "what?! No! Where'd you get that idea?!

Bakugo stepped closer smirking causing my cheeks to flush a rose colour "the look on your face" my mouth opened then closed again "shut it!" I climbed on Kirishima's back after he took dragon form "you better stay safe idiot until I get you back" my hands gripped the dragon as we took off getting higher and higher into the sky

Kirishima came to a stop "you ready, pumpkin?" I positioned myself into a crouched position "you sure this is safe?" The dragon gave me a questioning look "we can go down if you want?" I shook my head peering over the edge into the abyss of clouds "I won't let anything happen to you, I'll be right by your side the whole way! Promise!"

I tapped his back causing the dragon to tip upside down leading to me falling like we'd planned, I just stared up at Kirishima as the air rushed past my body. In my head, I counted as I twisted my body to face downwards ready to land on Bakugo but he was nowhere to be found. Where was he?!

Just as I was about to give up hope and accept my death, I hit something hard, and it wasn't the floor. "You idiot! You could've given me some warning!" Kirishima flew under us in excitement "hey man, it worked! She did it! How about we do a smaller distance now?!"

Bakugo was quick to protest the idea of retrying the stunt in a more dangerous way "no way! She's our future queen, damn it! We can't risk her life for fun!" I pouted "please, kacchan? I'll be extra careful?"

He didn't hesitate to answer back "No! And watch the claws!" I poked my tongue out well aware that he couldn't see me "well in that case, I guess it's okay for me to do this!"

Before I could stop him, Kirishima grabbed my arm and flung me on his back "Kiri, you dumbass!" I waved at Bakugo grinning "you! Don't move a muscle, or there'll be trouble tonight!" I bit my cheeks at the thought of Bakugo's threat

"I know that face! Get your head out of the gutter!" I hid my face in my hands quickly "c'mon man, she's allowed to think 'those' thoughts, like you said - she's our future queen...also catfolk are known to get in 'that' mood a little easier"

I was about to jump when Bakugo brought up a strange topic "How do you two idiots feel about marriage?" I mouthed the word repeating it, he'd had this obsession with that term lately "or do catfolk not have the kind of thing?" Kirishima took this as a queue to land gently on the floor where we were safe.

"We have the union and binding of several people, yea" Kirishima rested a hand on my shoulder "so what's it called in the 'glorious' kingdom of kitty cats?" The name of it was in my native tongue which I knew neither of them would understand since Bakugo only studied the basics and Kirishima hadn't studied it at all.

I told them what it was called "it's basically the same as marriage" I'd never really envisaged myself getting married then again, I never envisaged myself outside of human containment so it wasn't out of the question. I had a life now!

"What's brought this o-" Kirishima never got to finish sentence. When we looked back, Bakugo was on one knee with a ring in each hand, they were matching silver with a sapphire. I couldn't speak nor think "so what do you say, dumbasses?" My mind rushesd for an audible answer but none came. "C'mon man, you know me! I could never turn you down!"

Kirishima got his ring while I just stared at the other in bewilderment. I just started nodding slowly "lost for words, kitty cat?" I moved my gapped mouth to speak but all that came were tears of pure bliss. Kirishima shook my shoulders as my nodding sped up "nya~!" It wasn't exactly dialect but it was all I could manage right now

"Never in a million years did I think I'd hear you actually sound like a cat!" Even when the ring was slipped on my finger, it didn't feel real but it did feel right "you're with us for the long haul, baby!" I just stared in amazement, I was going to get married?! That stare continued in the group hug "umm, I think you broke her?"

The stare only broke when Bakugo started whispering what was supposed to remain unspoken in my ear, this resulted in my hands flying to my face again "She's 'fine'"

To put it simply, I was not 'fine'. Not in the slightest! Even through dinner at the tavern, or when we slept in Bakugo's bed instead of mine. It was all I could think about!

I was going to be a married woman, a wife and a queen?! Would I still be spymaster?! That job was pretty fun! The satisfaction I get from keeping my loved ones safe is irreplaceable, or so I thought?

Marriage was a whole new game for me...
