Different Beginning

Demi POV

   Paul and Denise wouldn't stop asking about when Cody was going to come over for dinner. I had to tell them multiple times he had to get his car fixed and he was busy shooting Hannah Montana. Finally the next week on Friday he was getting out early and was coming over for dinner. I didn't want Cody to be center of attention so I convinced Nick to invite Miley over and Joe heard about the dinner and since Dani was here he didn't wanna be without Aj so he invited her too. I was pissed my plan back fired on me. 

   Cody got to the house around 5 that evening I told him dinner wasn't going to be ready till 7 but he wanted to come early to spend time with me. 

"Hello beautiful" He said handing me a huge bouquet of flowers and giving me a hug once I opened the door. 

"Hey" I said giving him a kiss

"I bought these for Denise and Madi" Cody said holding two single roses

"Come everyone dying to meet you" I said taking this hand and leading him to the Kitchen/ living room. 

"Hey mom dad this is Cody" I said they where in the kitchen and Frankie and Madi where in the living room. 

"I'm so glad your here honey, dinner will be ready later" Denise said going in for a hug 

"These are for you" He said giving Denise a rose and Madi a rose once she comes closer 

"Awe they are lovely, but not as lovely as Demi Bouquet" Denise said ass I went for a vase to put the flowers in water 

"Don't be jealous mom" I said jokingly 

"Thank you Cody" Madi said giving him a hug 

"Is it okay if Cody and I go up to my room" I asked since they never did give me rules on boys 

"Sure, but leave the door open" Paul said

"Thank you" I said and took Cody hand I wanted to give him a tour of the house before going up to my room. 

"So down this hall we have a guest bedroom with bathroom next to it is the garage and across is the music room" I said opening the door and Nick, Kevin and Dani where in there. 

"Hey guys this is Cody" I said and Kevin got up to shake his hand 

"Kevin and this is Dani" Kevin said introducing himself and Dani Cody giving them both a hand shake 

"And of course I'm Nick" Nick said Cody meet the brothers before like once

"Where's Miley" Cody asked since they did just get done filming for the day 

"She'll be here in a bit you know her, girls take for ever to get ready even though I told her to just come in pajamas" Nick said 

"Let me know when she gets here" I told Nick and took Cody out the room 

"Not down this hall is the laundry room next to it is Denise and Paul Master bedroom. Across the hall is a restroom next to it is the office where we do our home schooling. They just added this part of the house. There's two guest bedroom with a jack n Jill bathroom on the right and  across is the home theater" I said going in we just looked around and went back to the hall. 

"Next to Denise and Paul room is just a closet and the stairs right next to it" I said going up the stairs 

"This first door is the Bathroom with Madi room right next to it and Kevin room next to her. Across from Kevin room is a bathroom then Frankie room. Than we have a little balcony with Stairs to the roof and next to the Balcony is Nicks room" I said and we went up the stairs again 

"Now we have the final floor" I said once we reached the 3rd floor going towards my room when we bumped into Joe I thought he left already to go pick up Aj. 

"I'm sorry excuse me" Cody said politely. Awkward. I had to act fast 

"It's no problem man" Joe said 

"Joe this is Cody, Cody Joe" I said and they shook hands 

"Nice to meet you, I gotta go I'm in a rush" Joe said and went downstairs 

"And this is my room" I said opening the door and we go in 

"Wow it's a nice room, love the roof top" Cody said and we went to my couch 

"Yea there's the bathroom if you need it" I said pointing to the bathroom door and grabbing the remote to turn the tv on. 

"Joe room across the hall" He asked 

"Yea" was all I said 

"And you two share a bathroom" he asked 

"Yea, Madi still sleeps with me so she uses it just as much as we do" I said 

"You and the brothers seem close, especially you and Joe" He said 

"Yea they are like my brothers, crazy and smelly" I said jokingly Nick and Kevin actually where clean freaks and Joe not so much I mean we do share a bathroom. 

"Have you and the Joe ever accidentally walk in on each other cause I have with my siblings" Cody said 

"Umm no, there's locks on the door"I said hoping he'll change the subject 

"Oh okay, so nothing ever happened" Cody asked I had to change this subject quick 

"No, please stop asking I'm happy with you" I said quickly 

"Okay, but you gotta show me the roof top" he said 

"Okay let's go" I said getting up and we go to the room. 

   We just hanged in my room taking pictures messing around on my desk top. Eventually Miley and Nick came up to my room and we where just kicking it messing around m. Dinner was awkward I made sure to sit as far away from Joe as possible. There was never a dull moment there was alway something to talk about. Denise and Paul loved Cody, he helped me clean up the kitchen before we gather in the theater to watch a movie. After the movie Denise and Paul went there separate ways. Kevin and Dani went down to the beach and Frankie and Madi went to the game room. 

"So why now" Nick asked 

"Let's go to the roof" I said grabbing Miley hand I was already hold Cody but I let go of his so I can walk with Miley up to my room. I wanted to make Aj feel left out. They all followed me up to my room and we went to the roof. We never did use the second floor balcony cause Paul had a camera there. Mostly so Frankie didn't sneak up to the floor after curfew. 

There was a table in the corner of the roof by my bedroom window we all gather around. We had enough Space for everyone. 

"All I got is Uno" I said coming back out everyone was already seated my seat thankfully was between Miley and Cody but Joe was right across from me. I didn't even wanna see his or her face. Why did I agree to come up here. 

"I haven't played this game in forever" Miley said Nick took the cards to shuffle them and pass them out. 

   We chilled till midnight. Paul told us In advance that was curfew. Joe had left an hour ago to go drop off Aj. Cody left a few minutes before midnight and Miley was staying the night.
