Demi 16 Birthday

Demi POV

   Today was August 20 I was excited as you can be while on tour for your 16 birthday. Max came to join us on tour to give Big Rob a week off. We where in Atlanta, Georgia for the show tonight. I was doing a quick sound check when I saw Cody come into the stadium. I told my band to give me a minute and I rushed off stage running to give Cody a hug almost knocking him down. 

"Woah slow down birthday girl" Cody said jokingly wrapping his arms around my waist and lifting me up and spinning me a bit. 

"I'm just so glad to see you" I said and gave him a kiss not breaking our hug 

"How is my favorite pop star doing" He asked once we broke apart 

"Better now that your here" I said giving him a kiss again I really did miss him. When he joined me on my warm up tour for a week it was the best week ever we had lots of fun. 

"Paul and Denise still don't know you joined me on the Warm Up Tour so don't mention it cause they will ground me" I said And he laughed 

"They ground you" He asked 

"They haven't but they always said they will" I said taking his hand and leading him up to the stage 

"Wow, so this is where all the magic happens" Cody said looking out to the empty arena 

"Yup, here do you still remember the cords for two worlds collide" I asked handing him a guitar and stool and getting one for myself too. Cody knew the basics of guitar but he was like me we couldn't read music. 

"I think so" He said putting the guitar strap around him and taking a seat I do the same sitting across from him leaving a few inches between us. 

   I gave my band the cue to start and once they did Cody and I chimed in. He just played the guitar while I sang. He sang with me too for a bit, but  he always said he liked my voice better when I was just singing to him. 

"Your so amazing" Cody said once the song was finished he leaded forward and I meet him half way for a kiss since our guitars where in the way. 

   Once we broke away from the kiss we heard a bunch of people come onto the stage. So Cody and I looked and saw the whole crew with Selena and Miley. I instantly jumped out of my seat and rushed to give them a hug I didn't even take my guitar off I just threw it over my shoulder so it was behind me. 

"I didn't know you guys where still coming" I said excited breaking away from the hug 

"Girl, we told you we wouldn't miss it for the world" Miley said  going to Cody and giving him a hug as well 

"And we brought you a little something" Selena said and looked towards the back of the crew where Dani was holding a cake. I didn't even know she was here too.

Once we all saw Dani with a cake they started singing happy birthday to me. Madi came by my side. 

"I don't know what to say, I'm so thankful you guys are all here" I said looking at everyone and Cody last singling for him to come closer to me.

"Thanks you guys" I said and blew out the candles 

"Woah Happy Birthday sis" Kevin said loudly making me laugh

"Thank you, Dinner tonight at Chili's everyone invited" I said looking at everyone 

"Happy birthday sweetie" Denise said coming over with Paul with some flowers 

"Thanks mom, Dad" I said taking the flowers and giving them a hug they said hi to Cody and gave him a hug as well 

"Happy birthday best friend" Nick said giving me a hug and giving the eye to Selena and Miley since we consider each other best friends too and Nick was always jealous cause they are girl I can't have girl talk with Nick. 

"Thanks Bro" I said hugging him back. Him and Selena where still going strong. Miley and him are just friends since I do live with him and things will always be awkward when she came over If they didn't get on talking terms so they did.

"Happy Birthday D" Joe said giving me a awkward side hug

"Thanks" I said awkwardly and Miley gave me a look which I had to ignore because everyone was still standing around the stage 

"Hey Cody good to see you man" Joe said to him and they fist bumped. Awkward. 

"Thank you guys for everything, let's go eat some cake" I said looking at Dani who was still holding the cake and we all made our way to catering. Luckily it was a big cake for everyone to share. 

   After we had cake the brothers had sound check and meet and great. So Dani, Selena, Miley and Cody all came to my dressing room. 

"So you guys only have like what 10 more shows" Dani asked Sitting on the other couch with Selena. Miley was in my make up chair

"11. Then we go to London for the Camp Rock premier" I said sitting next to Cody on the other couch with my legs on his lap

"Wait? What?" Cody said confused 

"Yea I thought I told we are going for like a week" I said looking at him 

"Oh I didn't know I thought you where going back to California after tour" He said 

"Not just yet, but we will be home on the 13th for a few days then I'm flying out again I forgot where to I'm just taking it week by week" I said 

"Girl, the price we pay for the rock star life" Miley said tossing grapes up into the air and catching them in her mouth. 

"Your not lying" Selena said even though Selena not releasing music yet Disney has her working a crazy schedule. 

   30 minutes before the show started Nick took Selena from us and Kevin took Dani. So they 'spend alone time' since they haven't seen each other in awhile. 

"Ughh love is disgusting" Miley said to me and Cody

"What happened to that girl you where seeing" I asked 

"Oh her we broke up like a month ago she doesn't like my schedule" Miley said 

"Awe I'm sorry that sucks" I said to her 

"Is Joe still dating Aj" Miley asked 

"No, I'm not sure exactly when, but they broke up" I said hoping Miley will change the subject 

"Yea we all saw that coming it wouldn't last" Miley said and I gave her a look to change the subject 

"So are you still filming for Hannah" I asked mostly Cody 

"I haven't in awhile, but I'm supposed to shoot an episode in a couple months" He said 

"Yea sorry production been weird" Miley said 

"Yea once I go to California I'm supposed to start filming Sonny" I said 

"Dude I heard you guys are shooting in a different studio other than the studio most of the Disney shows are shot" Miley said 

"Yea there was no space, I think they are gonna shoot some movie in the empty studio space" I said 

"I wish you where filming at the studio so we can have lunch everyday together" Miley said 

"I know it's a bummer, but you both gotta  come visit my  set" I said to them both 

"My set, she's already a Disney Princess" Miley said jokingly we hung out in my dressing for a little long till Max took them to the balcony box. 

   After the show we all went to chili's for dinner. After  dinner Selena and Miley had to catch a flight. Miley was going to NY and Selena was going to LA. Denise and Paul let Cody bunk on my buss only if Max keep a close eye. I mean it's a buss there's not much sneaking around I can be doing. 

   Madi went to sleep since it was kinda late. We didn't have a show tomorrow which was why we were driving to our next show. Cody and I stayed up enjoying each other company watching a few movies before we feel asleep on the couch.
