Eoin's POV
It's not fair. I found her and it's through me that Crusher even found her again! So why's McGrath getting her pregnant? Where's the logic for that?! And knowing him he''ll make it torture for Alba. Thoughts buzz through my mind as I pace the island, my mind full of Alba. Fury fills me as I think of what's going to happen. I stare out over Loch Leven and clench my fists.
I know I'm not the only one.

Alba's POV
I can't believe I was so close to finally killing Crusher and I missed my chance. Just...I can't believe it. What the fuck is wrong with me!? As I struggle in the ropes, Colin stares at me. He's got a lost look in his eyes, which quickly turns into fear.
-her, I almost scream when Colin's voice drifts into my head. His eyes widen and we stare at each other uncertainly.
Can you hear me? Colin's voice is quiet and takes a few second to penetrate the fog in my mind.
Yes, I tell him before looking away, biting my lip. Crusher can read Colin's mind - who says he can't read mine now?
"Why Alba?" Crusher asks and my eyes snap up to face him. Then I realise he has the blade in his hand, crushing it until it's practically powder. They don't call him Claw Crusher for nothing.
"I want out Jack." I sigh tiredly - just like I did last time.
"Why Alba?" Crusher repeats, angrier this time.
"Because I want a normal life!" I scream at them before I can stop it. There. I said it. I want a normal life. No wolves, no supes, no blood.
"Yoo cannae have a normal life." Crusher snorts and I try not to cry. I know he's right. Maybe that's why it hurts so much to hear it.
"I know..." I trail off and I hear a whimper. Colin's face is blank.
Was that...you? I ask nervously and Colin's eyes drop the floor.
No, he lies and I stop listening. I don't want to investigate how I know so surely that he's lying. Not like he's been to see me since I got here.
Crusher sits down on the bed next to me and I watch Colin's face flash with something I can't put my finger on. I focus on Crusher - knowing he's the threat here - and we watch each other wearily. From the look in his eye, if I hadn't known better, I would have said I'd really hurt him. But I do know better - I know damn well that Crusher has no heart.
As we watch each other warily, someone crashes into the house and storms quickly up the stairs. Quicker than anything I've ever heard. A few seconds later, Eoin tumbles into the room, looking furious. We all gape at him, stunned into silence.
Eoin was the last person any of us expected so see. I thought he'd given up on us. On me.
"Jack, we've gotta talk." Eoin snarls and Crusher doesn't move his eyes from me.
"Why?" He barks and Eoin leans against the wall, panting, as he surveys the war-like situation he just crashed into.
"It's about Alba." Eoin throws a stressed look my way but I just look away. He was in with Crusher the whole time - why should I ever trust him again? And why is it that everything in my life seems to go straight back to Crusher?
"So?" Crusher replies icily, his eyes still bearing into mine even though I'm looking anywhere but him now.
"You can't let McGrath get her pregnant!" Eoin gushes and everyone stares at him, surprised.
