Ch.5 [Bonding]

I had to write this chapter on my phone, so if this chapter has really bad grammar or something I am very very sorry. Also I promise to stop updating late at night idk why but this is the only time ideas come to me. Anyways enjoy chapter 5! :)

"Well it's getting late, I better get home." I said after we sat on the bench for awhile just talking.

"Do you live far, I can walk you?" Tom asked.

"Uhh...Yeah come on let's go. Thanks!" I smiled at him.

The two of us got up from the comfy bench and started to walk towards the parks exit. I only live about 6 blocks away from the park, so if it got awkward at least it wouldn't be awkward for a long time.

The two of us just kinda walked along each of us lost in our own thoughts. I started thinking that we never settled on a plan for how to move forward with our plan. "You know we need a plan or something. We can't just show up to set tomorrow and act like a couple, no one would believe us."

"Very good point. How do you want to handle it?" Tom asked.

"Well it would probably be best if we started off gradually teasing it for the paparazzi and our cast-mates and everything?" I suggested not really sure how a fake-relationship worked.

"Then we could maybe confirm it to a reporter or while we are doing press for The Order of the Phoenix premiere? We really get the fans invested in it." He built off of my idea.

"That could work!"

The two of us walked in silence again, processing the outline we both just made for our new fake relationship.

"We should probably figure out some rules or something..." Tom said.

"What do you mean?" I questioned.

"Like what we are willing to do? You know like what's okay in front of the cameras and on set and just overall how far we are going to take this?" He explained his thought.

"Yeah...good idea. Sooo uhhh..." I thought. "Obviously only PDA when necessary, nothing too touchy feely in front of my family and friends. The cameras however, that's a free for all, do what you need to do to make it believable."

"Uhh I can try to do all the things that Jade was always ragging on me to do." Tom said plainly.

"Like what?"

"Like write you notes and make you playlists, stuff like that..." tom continued. "I mean you would have to post them so she would see it but..."

I could tell that deep down he was hurting from the breakup. I softly smiled at him and said "that would be really sweet."

All he did was shrug it off.

"We could start by doing flirty things on set. You know start gradually so no one suspects that we are faking" I suggested to keep the conversation going.

"Yeah and I could pick you up to bring you to set once filming begins next week?" Tom said.

"That would be a lifesaver oh my gosh! Whenever I have to ride with my momager she turns it into a business meeting! I mean don't get me wrong I love that she cares but..."

"It can get overwhelming?" Tom said.

"Yeah!" I smiled at him.

"I get that." I was starting to get how him and emma got along so well, he was so easy to talk to the conversation just kind of flowed once you got going.

We spent the rest of the walk talking about our audition fails. Mostly mine, I had been auditioning a lot lately...looking for the next step after Harry Potter.

Once we started to approach my house I had to break the easy conversation. "Well this is me... thanks for walking me!"

"Of course. You know we should probably exchange numbers... you know for planning outings and such..." tom asked kind of awkwardly.

"Smart thinking." I smiled handing him my phone to let him put his number in.

"We better start planting the seeds with our friends tonight you know hinting towards the idea of us..." tom said handing my phone back.  "Make sure you talk highly of me l/n" winking at me, while backing away from my front door.

"See ya tom" I giggled at his wink.

"So was that Mr. Felton I just saw outside who walked you home?" My mom said as I walked inside.

"Indeed it was." I answered. "You know how J.K. Wanted us to bond and such for the movie. He's actually really cool!" I yelled going up stairs towards my room.

Deciding to plant the first seed of my plan, I decided to send Emma a text.

You know you were right! Toms really cool. I dont know if ive ever liked someone this much right off the bat!

Deep down I knew that wasn't true. I did feel that way about Tom, but I felt like that when I first met Dan too.

At least the plan was underway.

Hehe did anyone notice the to all the boys inspo from the park scene??
It kinda inspired a lot of this story soooo :)

Also sorry that this chapter is shorter i wanted it to just be these few scenes together

Also should i switch to authors pov?
