Ch. 15 [Two Truths and a lie]

Y/N'S POV
Back at the hotel, Emma and y/n were sitting in their room discussing the finer details of the fake relationship.

"So Jade really did cheat on him? I thought that was just a viscous rumor going around." Emma said.

"Yeah, I felt pretty bad for him. Made me feel pathetic though, complaining about getting friend zoned when he just got cheated on? Makes me sound great." I replied.

"You know dan never technically friend zoned you... if your telling me exactly what he said I think he's just clueless." Said Emma.

"It doesn't matter anyways, he didn't want me when it counted. Now I like another person who doesn't want me back!" I complained. "How do I even know when I really love someone?"

"You know it when you feel it. It's unexplainable." Emma explained.

"I think I love him Em."

"Well then what are you doing here?" Emma questioned.

"Well I dont know how to tell him!"

"Y/n you've got to tell how you feel when you feel it!" Emma told me. "You can't just sit in your room loving someone from afar forever."

"Your right! I am going to go to his room and knock on his door." I told her.

I marched down the hall with the most determination I have ever had. When I finally reached Tom's door I knocked a little bit harder than I meant to.

The noise from my knocking made Helena come out of her room. "Hey everything okay?" She asked.

"Uh yeah, is Tom here do you know?"

"No, not yet I don't think, I tell him to come see you when he gets in though," she replied

"Okay, perfect!" I replied, walking backwards back towards my room.

"Hey Emma if Tom comes by will you send him to the pool? I need to work off some of this adrenaline."

"Yeah sure thing!" She said mindless flipping through a magazine from the plane.

I grabbed my suit and ran down stairs. I began to do my swimming when I saw a figure walk up to the pool. "Hey."

I looked up mid way in the pool to see Tom sitting at one end of the pool.

"Didn't know you were a swimmer?" Tom continued.

"I like to be mysterious." I grinned.

"Yeah I got that..." he seemed off.

"What's that supposed to mean?" I questioned.

"You know what it means," he said in a quiet tone. "Why didn't you sit next to me on the plane l/n?"

"Emma gets scared on planes." I said knowing it was a lazy lie.

"Ha good one, she's practically infatuated with planes." He scoffed. "You know I got all your favorite snacks, and movies. I even brought you a neck pillow."

"Really?" I smiled edging closer to his end of the pool.

"Yeah l/n. And you know what," he said standing up. "I was jealous when I saw you with dan at the airport!"

"Help me out of the pool." I said to him.

"What?" He said confused.

"Help me out of the pool I need to do something." I repeated reaching up my hand.

Tom grabbed my hand and try to pool me out, I resisted and instead pulled him into the pool with me. "Gotcha." I whispered.

"Oh you are so dead!" He said racing towards me. When he finally reached me he grabbed me by the waist and pulled me towards him. With our faces less than inches apart we looked at each other, almost studying the others face. With this opportunity I took the chance and I kissed him deeply. He slowly wrapped my legs around his waist and carried me in the water towards the wall of the pool, never breaking the kiss. 

Breaking the kiss for a second, to the dislike of tom who had kissed my cheek, I said "Tom I know I've made it quite clear, but I really like you."

"Duh..." he said kissing my cheek again. "I really really like you too." He said kissing me again. "But we better get to bed before people notice I haven't been in yet."

"Or that we are both soaking wet." I giggled.

"That too" he said winking at me and laughing with me.

"Where were you anyways?" I questioned.

"Uh just got with an old friend, you know how filled L.A. can be." He said strangely. I just brushed it off though still questioning if it's something to be concerned about.
