Ch. 19 [I love you okay!]

Emma ended up sleeping over after everything that happened, so I decided to wake up early and head out and get bagels for when she wakes up.

As I was coming in I heard her already awake and talking to my parents. "Hey guys, I am back with bagels!" I announced to the living room.

"Oh thank God I was starved!!" Emma announced to the room.

"I thought you would be!" I said giggling. "Em why don't we go upstairs and eat?"I asked wanted to plan how to talk to Tom in privacy.

She followed me up the stairs of my house to my room. "So what are you thinking?"

"I am going to tell him." I replied knowing thats not what she meant.

"No like how are you telling him, I know you are that wasn't an option. You are too mopey for that to be an option." She said in a mother knows best tone.

"I don't know how to do this. I have never loved anyone." I sighed. "What if he doesn't love?"

"I have told you he loves you. I can tell he loves you. You don't see it but he looks at you how all girls want to be looked at." Emma told me.

"He does?" I said calming down.

"He does." She smiled at me. "Now go! Love doesn't wait for anyone!" She said probably quoting some random romance novel.

"I am going!" I said putting my bagel down and grabbing a pair of shoes and running out my bedroom door.

"Okay well, I am going to stay here and eat the rest of your bagel okay?" Emma said plopping down on my bed.

With that I was off I sprinted to Tom's house letting my feet carry me as fast as they want to take me. Passing every house, restaurant, building as I practically flew through the city trying to get to where he was.

I finally made it to his apartment in the city after sprinting at least 4 miles, and I knocked on his door. I heard footsteps move towards the door and then it was open. "Y/n? What are you doing here?" Tom said looking shocked. "Did you run here? Why are you panting?"

"I have to tell you something." I said shortly.

"Erm... okay go for it. Tell me." He said looking confused.

" I did run here."  I announced looking down.

"You ran here to tell me you ran here?" He asked not buying the story.

"Well yes. But, also no." I replied.

"Well which one is it?" He said looking as if this conversation was physically hurting him.

"No."

"So then why are you here y/n?" He said calmly.

"First I need to ask you something." trying to buy myself time to get it together. "What were you doing with Jade the day we got together?"

"Y/n if you came here just to start more shit just-"

"I don't want to start anything I-, I just need to know." I assured him.

"I met up with her because she asked if we could talk. I didn't know what it was about so I went. I thought she wanted to try to be friendly again, but when I got there she asked if we could get back together. Once she said that, I just shut it down."

"Okay." I mindlessly replied. I needed to think of how to say how I felt.

"Okay?" He questioned.

"I need to tell you something then." I repeated. "You know, when I thought about doing something like this I thought it would be like a cliche romance movie, and it would be pouring rain, and we would both be soaked. But we are both dry right now; well your dry, I am a bit sweaty." Endlessly rambling.

"Y/n what are you saying?" Tom questioned, knowing I only ramble when I get nervous.

"Right! I should get to it." Realizing how long I had rambled on for, "I guess I will just get to it." Staring down and the floor, butterflies filling my stomach.

"-okay here goes nothing. I love you okay! I think I've loved you for awhile but tried to deny it, but I do. I really do. But it's okay if you don't-,"

With that Tom grabbed my face and our lips collided in a perfectly messy kiss. Pulling away tom says, "I have loved you since we made that stupid deal." Pulling me into a huh, while I admired the vulnerability he displayed.

He smoothly brushed my hair away from my ear and whispered, "You know I think it supposed to rain today. If we go for a walk I bet we will get caught in it."

"Let's go!" I said pulling his hand down the hallway towards the stares, practically racing out of the building. We ran out the door into the pouring rain and he pulled me into a soft and quick kiss before twirling me around on the side walk turning it into our own dance floor. The paparazzi quickly finding us and clicking away.

But we didn't care. We just danced in the rain, wishing to be forever stuck in that the perfect moment.

Alright yall this was 100% my favorite chapter to write.THATS A RAP!!!
