Ch. 11 [you were right]

Once the party started to crack down we decided to go home. We sat in the limo in silence for a long time until I decided to break it. "You didn't tell me Jade was going to be there."

"Be careful L/n, you almost sound jealous." He replied.

"It just would've been nice to be prepared thats all." I said clearly unhappy with his response.

"What was Radcliffe having to say?"

"A lot actually." I snippily stated.

"Like... come on y/n you gotta give me something, this isn't much of a conversation right now." He said trying to ease the tension.

"He said you guys were up for the same deal. Is that true?"

He looked shocked for a minute. "Well, yes... but he already had the leg up because he's the lead actor I needed something to get my name on their radar."

"So you thought blindsiding me in-front of the cameras and all of the drama would get you the deal?"

"Well I mean it did. They gave me an offer earlier."

"Well congrats. Dan and I aren't friends anymore but at-least you got your precious deal."

"Hey," he paused. "What happened?"

"You know that wasn't fair, you shouldn't have made me to go against my best friend. You could have at least forewarned me." I said staring out the window. "That's going against the whole reason we were doing this thing."

Tom looked defeated. Like he had no idea what to say to me after that.

We didn't talk for the rest of the ride. I just went inside without saying another word, I needed some time to think by myself.

I went inside and laid on my bed, trying to understand what really happened just now. All I could think about was how I felt when I saw Tom talking to Jade. I feel this is getting further than a fake relationship, I feel like I'm getting legitimate feelings for him.

I think I need to walk away from this. Its getting to real, it was all fine and good when I knew what I wanted but now what I thought I wanted seems so different than what I want now. I went to bed since I had to be at set tomorrow.

When I woke up I realized I had to ask my mom for a ride since Tom probably wouldn't show up considering the fact that I yelled at him yesterday.

"Why isn't Tom giving you a ride today? Dont get me wrong I'm happy I get to take you but." She said even though I wasn't listening. "I saw you two confirmed your relationship at the party last night. Good job, I have trained you well."

"Yeah, good publicity." I replied plainly.

"Are you sure everything is okay you are so quiet today?" She said trying to meet my eyes.

"Everything is perfect." I said as we pulled Onto set. No more awkward questions that I don't know the answer to.

I plotted how I could avoid both of them but of-course I saw both of the boys more times today that I have all of filming. Every time I saw one of them my heart hurt.

I went home after a long day feeling defeated.

After dinner my phone vibrated and I checked to see who it was to see it was none of than Tom.
