Ch. 8 [Autographs]

Watching Tom in a scene is just as amazing as watching Dan. They are both extraordinarily talented, I feel so lucky to even be on this cast with them. Sometimes I still feel like the fangirl who landed the dream role. It seems crazy that I am even friends with any of them, let alone one of the stars in the movie. 

It began to approach Tom's and my first scene together, I got more and more nervous by the second. I don't even think he's ever watched me act up close before. I typically get nervous before a big scene though, it goes back to her fangirl tendencies.

The scene with Tom went way better than expected. We got it done in less than 5 takes, which left us with plenty of time to go to lunch. We decided we would get in the car and drive, then decide where to go for lunch.

"So how are we doing this?" Tom asked.

"Um... pick a number 1-20." I said.

"16... lucky number"

"Okay, so first things first weird lucky number, and now every time you get to an intersection ask if you should turn left or right, for 15 turns and then for the last turn we go to the 8th restaurant on the last road?"

"Sounds perfect"

In between the choices of left and right we talked about whatever came to mind. Tom decided to make the conversation a bit deeper and asked "What made you be like this is what I want to he doing with my life, this is the role I was born to play?"

"To be honest with you?" I asked.

He nodded. "I don't know. It was so long ago I can hardly remember it anymore."

"You'll remember what its all about," He said.

Finally we ended up at a little diner on the outskirts of London that gave me the sweetest vibes. We went inside and asked for a table, but we were immediately recognized as the cast of harry potter... don't get me wrong this is my dream job but I would like to do some things without this being an issue for me.

"OH MY GOD YOUR DRACO MALFOY AHHHH AND YOUR LORRAINE GELDFORD!!! THIS IS THE COOLEST THING THATS EVER HAPPENED HERE!!" A young waitress said clearly starstruck.

"Hello love," Tom said with a soft smile on his face, you could tell that he really loves to be around his fans. Me on the other hand, I love and appreciate them more than anything could not and would not be where I am now without them, but I get so flustered when people bombard me like that. It makes me anxious.

As the rest of the restaurant heard the word "famous" their attention was peaked, and the line of people waiting for pictures had begun. There was nothing I would do at this point but to let Tom lead and chat with the fans.

After at least 45 minutes of pictures and chit chatting, I took a seat at the nearest booth and observed Tom with his fans. He was really good with them, the young or the old, boy or girl, didn't matter because he could make anyone feel like the most interesting person in the room. Me, however, very much was not good with social situations like this one.

Finally the crowd left and we were able to eat and get back in the car. We had to be back to the studio soon otherwise we would've walked around in the area a bit. We started back on our way and got to chit chatting again talking about whatever came to mind, it was nice. So nice that I almost forgot it was all fake.
