(Time skip - new years eve)
I get out of the shower and get dressed. I put on some jeans and a hoodie. I do light make up before grabbing my phone and leaving my room. I quietly go downstairs, I grab my keys and head towards the front door.
"Where are you going" my mum asks
"Didn't think you were up" I say
"Clearly, where are you going" she asks again
"To the park to meet the others, I'm not drinking before you ask" I say
"Ok have fun" she says
"That's it, no convincing me to stay jut going to let me go" I say
"Yes, I trust you" she says "it's New Year's Eve go have fun with your friends"
"Ok thanks, I'll see you tomorrow" I say leaving the house.
I walk to the park and like always I'm the first one there. I go sit on the swing and wait for the others. Jamie and Kai get here and then we wait for Esther and Payton.
"Finally what took you guys so long" I ask as they walk over
"Someone took forever to get ready" Esther says rolling her eyes and looking at Payton
"Chill I said sorry, plus I drove you here so be nice or I'm leaving you here" he says
"Then I'll go home with your girlfriend" she argues
"Both of your shut up" I say "anyway what are we doing" I ask
"We're getting drunk, I don't know about you two though" Kai says
"How fun" I sarcastically say
Esther pulls out a few bottles of alcohol and the start to drink. I convince Payton to have a few, I don't want him to miss out because of me. He only has one or two to stay sober because he's driving. About an hour later the others are pretty much drunk and I'm still very sober.
"What's the time" I ask Payton
"Half ten" he says and I roll my eyes
"This is boring" I say swinging on the swing
"Wanna go, they won't notice" he says and I nod
We get up and leave the park, we go back to his car and he starts driving. I put music on, we sing and just mess about.
"Where are we going" I ask
"No where in particular" he says
"Lets go get taco bell" I say
"Ok bet" he says and heads towards taco bell
We get their and he goes through the drive thru. We get our food and sit in the car park and eat still listening to music. I go on my phone and notice Esther's texted me.
Esther
Stop fucking my cousin and get back here
Kaden
I'm not fucking him. We went for a drive
I'm on my way now
Esther
Ok, get more drink on the way back
We leave taco bell and stop at the shops. I get some snacks and get a small bottle of vodka for the others. We get back and I give them the drink, their all on the floor and I sit on the swing. I start to eat my snacks, I offer Payton some.
"How was the ride" Esther asks
"Shut up" I say rolling my eyes knowing she's not talking about the drive
"C'mon, your telling me you haven't done it yet" she says
"No, we've been dating for two weeks. Why do you care anyway" I ask
"I don't, I just want something to take the piss out of Payton" she says
"Fuck off" he says
"I'll leave that's to Kaden" She says turning her attention back to the other. Me and Payton talk while on the swings. Half an hour before midnight I get everyone to comeback.
"Come on photo time" I say while setting the phone up
"What" Payton asks confused
"Every year we take a photo before and after midnight. There's no reason behind it" I say
I put the timer on and press the button. We all stand back, Esther is hanging on me for support and Payton is on my other side. Jamie and Kai are doing their own thing. I get my phone and laugh at the picture.
"Its almost midnight" I shout so everyone can hear, they all come over to the swings.
I leave and climb to the top of the play house and Payton follows me. I get out my phone and watch the countdown. Everyone at the swings screams happy new year.
"Happy new year" I say to Payton
"Happy new year" he says back and kisses me and I kiss back. Obviously that's interrupted by Esther
"Gross get a room" she says
"Ok" I say getting down from the Play house and Payton following.
I sit in the floor next to Esther. We take another photo and start talking. Our conversation doesn't really make sense because their drunk.
"It's almost 2am, we should go home" I say getting up
"C'mon Esther lets go" Payton says putting his hand out for Esther but she pushes it away and stands up almost immediately stumbling.
"Let me help you" I say grabbing her and helping her stand. "I'll take her to mine or she get in shit with her mum"
"I'll drive you" Payton says
We go pack to his car and I put Esther in the back. I find my drink from Taco Bell and give it to her in attempts to sober her up. Payton pulls up outside my house and I get out and help Esther, Payton comes inside as well. Payton takes Esther to the living room and I get her water.
"You two are cute" she says
"Thank you I guess" I say
"Kai still likes you, you know" she says and I look at Payton
"I know" I don't know what else to say
"But he's happy for you. I should have introduced you two sooner" she says
"Yeah you should have" Payton agrees and I laugh
"Let's get you to bed" I say getting up going over to her
"No, I don't know what you two have done in that bed" she says refusing to get up
"We haven't done anything and you've slept in it before knowing that I've slept with like fifteen guys" I say and she gets up.
I get her upstairs and give her some clothes to sleep in. She gets in my bed and pretty much passes out straight away. I go back downstairs to the living room where Payton still is. I sit next to him and put the tv on.
"Thank you for helping once again" I say
"No problem, I mean she is my cousin so I guess I have to look after her" he says
"You act like you hate each other but I know you don't" I say
"I know she's just really annoying" he says
"Kinda like you then" I joke and he looks offended "I'm joking, I didn't mean it"
"I know" he says kissing my forehead
