Lana's pov

I open my eyes to the sound of Abel crying. I look over to Jax, who's holding a pillow over his head trying to ignore the baby. I smile and pull on a strand of his hair, making him twitch and look at me, frowning.
"Why are you ignoring the boy?" I whisper to him.

He moves closer to me, shutting his eyes and wrapping an arm around my waist. "I'm not, he just started crying." I kiss him on the cheek and quickly get up, letting him sleep some more; he got home pretty late last night.

I put my hair up with a hairclip and throw on one of Jax's reaper shirts. I love wearing them, they're so big and soft.

I rush to Abel's room and as soon as he sees me, he stops crying and tries to stand up in his crib. I pick him up, he's getting pretty heavy. "Good morning baby." He's all puffy and warm and he wraps his little arms around my neck. I give him a few kisses and he starts giggling. I love this feeling, holding Abel, knowing I can protect him and make him happy; he's already been through so much. He's definitely a fighter. Every time I look into his eyes I see my unborn baby and I know I have to do right by him.

We make our way into the kitchen where I set him down on his blanket and hand him some toys to play with. I make coffee, scramble some eggs and cut up a few cherry tomatoes, making two portions. Jax comes into the kitchen while I feed Abel his yogurt.

"What business proposition did you have for Nero?" I ask stirring into the yogurt cup.

"Diossa Norte. We're opening another escorts place at the old warehouse."

I turn my head around and look at him surprised. "Really? Why?"

"My way of pushing the club on a more legit path, one that hopefully will get us out of drugs and guns." He pours two cups of coffee and hands one to me, sitting down next to Abel and petting him on the head. "What do you think?"

I scoff "I think the girls will love having you around more often."

His eyebrows knit together as he places his cup on the floor. "You know you're the only girl for me. None of them can compare to Lana del Rey ." He smirks pulling me close and kissing me. I can't even pretend to be mad at him, and he's right; this should pull the club in a better direction. My phone starts ringing from the bedroom and Jax jumps up. "I'll get it." He runs to the room and comes back looking at my screen. "It's Nero." He hands me the phone and I answer.

"Morning Lizzy, I have great news."

"Yeah? What?" I ask with excitement.

"I just booked you a very important gig for two days from now."

"Oh my god! Already?"

He chuckles. "Yup. It's in LA; some really important people are going to be there. I already called Rob and she said she can go with you, I took care of the transportation."

"Thanks Nero. When do we leave?"

"Today, at five; hope you didn't have any plans...It's a one week thing too, you'll be back in seven days."

I look up at Jax, who's watching me in anticipation. "Oh...ok."

"Sorry it was so last minute, you know how these things are."

"No, it's fine." I answer a bit hesitantly.

"I'll send a car to pick you up at five then?"

"Ok, thanks. Talk to you later."

I hang up the phone and sigh. "Nero booked me a gig in LA."
