Josh x Chase

Chase's POV

I was sitting at the kitchen table with Nick and Ryland, when my phone began to ring. I picked it up and looked at the contact name.

'joshie💗🥰'

I quickly answered and headed to my room, hoping no one saw that it was him calling. Josh and I had been dating in secret for about 5 months, and after many close calls, we were always extra careful about hiding our relationship.

"Chase? You there?" He asked since I hadn't said anything while running to my room.

"Yeah Josh, I'm here. What's up?"

"The boys and I are coming over today and I have a surprise for you." I gasped, locking my bedroom door and plopping on my bed.

"Aww, Joshie! What is it?" I asked excitedly. He only chuckled in response.

"It wouldn't be a surprise if I told you babyboy." Ugh, I love when he calls me that.

We talked for a little while longer before he had to leave with the rest of the sway house. As soon as he hung up, I ran to get ready.

I went through my entire closet, looking for the perfect pair of skinny jeans. After finding the ones I wanted, I grabbed Josh's 'Buddy's Hard' merch and walked to the bathroom.

Once I finished getting dressed, I combed my hair and just stared at myself in the mirror. A million thoughts spun through my head, but I was mainly thinking about the surprise.

Josh's POV

I was so excited to surprise Chase with this, I know he's gonna love it. There were two parts to the surprise, but I only worried about the first one.

Today I planned to out Chase and I's relationship to the public. I was going to go live when we got to the hype house.

I had already asked Nick to get Chase out of his room when I arrived so I could set everything up. Then I would call Chase in and tell the live that we were dating.

He would probably hate me for it, but the second part definitely made up for it. I was also going to give Chase a promise ring today.

As we pulled up into the hype house drive way, I took out my phone and went live.

"Hey guys! I have a huge surprise for y'all today so get ready." I told everyone. I watched as the comments spammed with question marks and random emojis.

I snuck in while the rest of sway walked in to greet everyone. I turned the live off, telling them that I'd be back in a couple of minutes.

Nick met me in his room and we went over the plan before he left to distract Chase.

I waited for Nick to text me that Chase had left his room, then quickly ran into his room before anyone saw me.

Letting out a deep sigh, I found an area of the room that Chase had never filmed in before so they wouldn't know where I was at.

I turned the live back on, sprinkling rose petals on the floor while answering questions.

"Ok guys, today I'm going to reveal the person I've been secretly dating for the past couple of months so leave your guesses of who it is in the comments." Many people guessed Nessa, some even thought it was Anthony or Jaden.

I texted Nick to send Chase to his room and soon enough, he walked through the door. I noticed that he was wearing my merch, and he looked really cute in it since it was my hoodie size and not his.

"Josh? What are you doing?" I grabbed his hand, pulling him so he was standing right next to me. I watched his face as he realized that this was the surprise I had been planning.

"Alright, I doubt any of you guessed it, but Chase and I are dating. If you don't accept, I don't care." Chase looked from the live to me and back to the live.

"Josh! What the fuck?! I thought you didn't want anyone to know about us!" Chase yelled. I wrapped my arms around his waist, pulling his into my chest.

"I used to feel that way, but now I don't care. You know how hard it was to watch people ship us with other girls or boys we didn't even like. I just want everybody to know you're mine."

He smiled at me, wrapping his arms around my neck and resting his head on my shoulder. I peeked at my phone to see that the comments were all positive and that our fans thought that we were cute together.

"So was this the surprise?" Chase asked. I let go of him, getting down on one knee.

"No, this is. Chase Hudson, the past five months have been the best days of my life. Meeting you and dating you are two of the greatest thing that ever happened to me. I love you so much and I can't imagine my life without you. So Chase, will you accept this promise ring?"

I watched his face morph from confusion to shock to happiness. He grinned and nodded as tears began to stream down his face.

I stood up, slipping the ring on his finger. I wiped away his tears and placed a gentle kiss on his lips. We pulled away resting our foreheads on each others.

I was so happy that everyone knew about us now. I felt so much joy knowing that I as free to post with Chase and spend time with him without having to worry about the cares of the world.

A/N This ship is lowkey so problematic, but it was too cute not to write about.
