'This time I'm ready to run, escape from the city and follow the sun. 'Cause I wanna be yours, cause you wanna be mine. I don't wanna get lost in the dark of the night. This time I'm ready to run, wherever you are is the place I belong. Cause I wanna be free, and I wanna be young. I'll never look back now I'm ready to run.'

Blake x Noah

Blake's POV

Noah is in a fight with his parents. Usually when the kid is mad, everyone thinks it's their fault, but not this time. All the blame belongs to Noah's parents.

They are homophobic so you can imagine the angry expression on their faces when Noah introduced me as his boyfriend. That was about a month ago, and they're still having daily arguments.

As I lay in bed, a very idiotic thought crossed my mind. What if we ran away?

My parents were rarely home because of business or whatever, so I know they wouldn't care, and Noah's parents probably wanted to kick him out anyways.

I reached over to my night stand and grabbed my phone. Dialing Noah's number, I listened to the familiar ringing sound before he picked up.

"Hey Blakey, what's up?" He asked. He was breathing heavily, so I knew he must've been working out. Something he does often to escape his parents.

"Are you at the gym?"

"Yeah, but I always have time for you." He responded. I blushed and decided to explain my plan.

"Well, I was thinking, what if we ran away from home? Live on our own for a while?" The line was dead silent as I waited for his response, hoping he didn't think I was crazy.

"Ok! Your parents are stupid rich and mine would love to see me go. Besides, I've been thinking about getting my own place, with you of course." I squealed, jumping off of my bed and running around the room.

"Yay! It'll be just like moving out, only no one will know until we're gone." We stayed on the phone for a little longer, making arrangement to leave in a week.

Noah hung up and went back to working out while I decided to look for cheap apartments. I found a couple cute one's I knew we could afford, but until we saw them in person, we'd sleep in Noah's car.

I even did laundry, for like the first time ever. I was beyond thrilled to leave our current lives and be free to do what we wanted.

Packing had been a tedious process because I didn't want to leave anything important behind. I would miss the few friends I had, but I knew Noah needed this, a lot.

Getting away from his toxic parents would definitely make his life much easier and I'm so happy we were really doing this.

*time skip to "moving day"*

"You ready babe?" I placed the last bag in Noah's trunk and took a final look at my childhood home.

"Yep, lets hit the road!"

We hopped in the car and set off. I didn't regret anything about this. Noah and I were having so much fun and I knew we were making the right choice.

About 2 days ago, we finally came to the agreement to move to Nebraska. Noah had some friends there from travel soccer and I thought the scenery was nice.

The radio was blasting some random song, but we danced along like we knew every word. The freeway was practically empty since it was already 2AM.

As I watched the houses fly by us, I knew without a doubt that Noah and I were headed for something great, and I couldn't wait.
