You remember moments ago, when you would watch your mother fight.
You hid behind a cart as you watched your mother fight the same assassins that hunted you down. You'll never forget how she fought. The man charged at her as she sidestepped, grabbing him by the arm, breaking it in a fluid motion, bending the dirt under his feet to trip him off his feet, then stabbing him in the neck.
Then another man rushed at her from behind as you see her move with fluid motion, moving behind him, shifting the ground under his feet to destabilize him as she moves behind him, breaking his neck.
Breathing deeply as she turns back to you.
Daiyu: Are you alright (Y/N)?
You nodded slowly as you emerged from your hiding place. Your mother rushing over to you holding you close and kissing you on your cheek. You look at the bodies as she directs your attention to her eyes.
Daiyu: Don't focus on them. Look at me. People like this are going to come after us. We have to do what we have to to survive. It's them or us sweetie.
She picks you up, carrying you out of the building.
Daiyu: We're too strong to be taken down so easily. When they come for you, you have to know that at the end of the day, no one can match us in any regard.
Your eyes focus as you look up once again in the desert. The man standing over you with his foot on your chest. The blade ready as he looks down at you.
Assassin: Your skills were not what I expected. They say the Ghost was a feared Earthbender, I guess the legends were wrong in that regard.
The others all ready to jump in, ignoring your orders as the blade is raised in the air. The sand begins to pick up around you and the assassin. Your eyes narrow as you focus yourself, remembering what your mother said, how no one could match you, remembering all you've been through and all you've learned, you open your eyes again as you open your hands, throwing them forward as the man is blasted off of you with sand.
You weakly stand to your feet as the sand around you begins to move in a windy pattern, almost mimicking how Aang did it earlier. But with less and, but all sand.
As he looks up, seeing the sand surrounding you, your green eyes piercing the veil of sand as it makes his eyes widen as you look like you have a storm trailing behind you, forcing the others to cover their eyes. You rush at him, riding the sand as it send you forward at great speed. He blasts you with fire as you use the sand to propel you high into the air, flipping over the flames and landing behind him.
He goes to shoot you with more flames as you wave your hand, taking a lose stance and sending your hand forward in a circular motions as the sand grabs onto his arm before he could even shoot the fire. Lifting him into the air and slamming him back into the ground.
You encircle your hands in a flowing movement to keep the sandstomr going, making it as dense as possible. You use the sand to launch yourself into the air again, then spinning your body like a drill as you fall into the sand, vanishing out of the mans sight as he tries to look through the obscuring sands you made.
He looks around frantically for you, looking in the air, but then he feels a pair of hands grab his ankles. Pulling him down all the way, only leaving his head up as he drops the broken blade. You emerge, staring down at him through the veil of sand as you kneel down.
Y/N: I think my skills live up to legend. After all, the earth is my element.
You grab the blade as you raise it overhead. Glaring down at the man with a slight grin.
