Chapter 11

“You’ve been very busy these fast few days Zal but make sure you didn’t over work yourself.”

What the hell is happening to me? Why did I let him manipulate my feelings? This is insane!

“Hey Zal!?”

I need to pull over myself! This is not good!

“Cazzaleira!?” I unconsciously roam my head after hearing my name. Was tha…?

“Are you okay?” dumapo ang tingin ko sa kaharap at noon ko lang naalalang kasama ko pala ngayon si Dio.

“H-huh? A-ahh yeah.” Napapahiyang tango ko sa kanya. Gusto kong sampalin ang sariling pisngi dahil sa iniisip ko.Bakit ko inaasahang siya ang tumawag ng pangalan ko? For goodness sake I’m with Dio!

“You sure? You look bothered.” Pag-alalang aniya.

“Yeah. I’m just a little bit tired.” I gave him a smile to keep him at ease.

“You should’ve told me earlier. We can just eat our lunch at your office.” Sinundo niya kasi ako kanina sa office para kumain ng lunch dito sa restaurant malapit sa kompanya. Dio is a very busy person but he always makes time for me and I feel guilty for not paying him attention.

“Oh no, it’s okay. Namiss ko na ring kumain dito eh.” We usually ate here. Minsan pa nga ay kasama namin si kuya.

“You may be tired hearing these always but please Zal don’t make yourself tired,hmm?” puno ng pagsusumamong pakiusap niya.

“Yes, sorry for making you worry Dio. Don’t worry, I’m taking good care of myself.”  I gave him an assurance smile.

“Good to know.” Mukhang kumbinsido naman siya dahil ginawaran niya rin ako ng ngiti.”You done?” sumulyap pa siya sa pinggan ko at binalik ang tingin sa akin.

“Ahh yes.”

“Shall we?” I gave him a nod. He then snake his arm around my waist before we lead to the exit.

I’m used to Dio being this close to me. Aside from kuya, Dio is the only guy I’m comfortable with not until he came. Hindi ko rin alam kung bakit nakakaramdam ako ng ganoon sa kanya. Dahil ba sundalo siya at mapagkakatiwalaan? Ay ewan ayaw ko na rin namang isipin iyon dahil sumasakit lang ang ulo ko pero hindi ko talaga maiwasan.

“We’re here Zal.”

Naagaw lang muli ang atensyon ko pagkarinig ng boses ni Dio. Hindi ko man lang napansin na nasa harap na pala kami ng kompanya”Ahh yeah.Hmm thank you for the lunch Dio. Next time ulit.”  I kissed his cheek and wave him goodbye. I saw him give me a slight nod and he mouthed “I love you”. I just chuckled.

As soon as I entered my office, I resume to my work again. As usual, checking some papers, approving some proposed outputs and other stuffs. Tungkol naman sa construction next week sa bahay ni Hassi ay okay na lahat. Sisimulan na ito by Monday. I just informed my secretary to give some updates to Hassi regarding in his house’s construction in Monday.

“Good afternoon Archt. Clevente.” Bungad ko kay Zyani pagkapasok ko sa opisina niya.

“U-uy k-kanina ka pa riyan?” tila nagulat pa siya sa presensya ko at dali-daling binaba ang telepono niya. Mukhang may kausap pa yata  siya.

“Hindi naman. Kakapasok ko lang. Did I disturbed you?” tanong ko habang palapit sa upuan sa harap ng office table niya.

“Ahh no.” ngiting aniya. “Hmm what brings you here?”

“This Monday, the construction of LTC. El Seva’s house will start. Sabay na tayong pumunta sa location.” Imporma ko sa kanya.

“Alright. Anong oras ba? Should I bring my car?”
