Chapter 13

You all waited until nightfall, the pool had closed and only Billy was there. You managed to sneak everyone into a closet in the locker room next to the sauna. You heard someone open the main door and a shower started.

"Only question is who can fit through the window?" Mike whispered.

"Y/n is the skinniest and the shortest." Max said.

"Right then that's my cue." You sighed.

"Be quick and come straight back here okay?" Will said to you.

"Yup." You sighed. You stared climbing up some shelves to the window, you sat on the top shelf while you opened it. When it was open you looked out and saw boxes of chlorine underneath it.

"Right if you hear something crack it's my head okay." You said to everyone.

"Wait what?" Will said.

"I'm kidding." You chuckled.

You slid your legs out the window and jumped out. You ran around to the front of the pool and to the locker room door. You opened it and waited.

"Pool is closed." You heard Billy's voice say, you closed the door and quickly locked it and put the lock on to support it. You stood back as someone tried to open it and smiled to yourself, you ran back around to the window. You piled up the boxes and climbed up them and went back through the window. You jumped from the top shelf and to the floor.

"All done." You said stretching your arms. You all listened as Billy charged through the doors to the gym and to the recording of Lucas and Mike saying his name. El snuck out and you heard her slam the sauna door shut, everyone ran out and the boys put the chain on the door to a pipe and stuck a metal stick through to keep it in place. You all stood back as Billy tried opening the door, he looked around at you all and saw Max's face.

"Max." He said looking at her.

"Do it." Max said to you all, Will ran to the heating controls and turned it up all the way.

Billy slammed himself on the door. "Max! Let me out of here!" He yelled. "Let me out. You kids... You think this, is funny? You kids think this is some kind of sick prank huh?" Billy spit on the window. "You little shits think this is funny!" He yelled. "What is this? Open, the door. OPEN THE DOOR!" He yelled banging on the door making you all jump. "OPEN THE DOOR! OPEN THE GOD DAMN DOOR!" He fell to the ground and started screaming, Will ran over and checked the temperature.

"We're at 220." Will said turning his head to you all.

You heard Billy start to sob. "It's not my fault. It's not my fault. I promise you it's not my fault. It's not my fault Max."

"What's not your fault Billy?" Max asked walking over to the window.

"I've done things Max. Really, bad things. I didn't mean to. He made me do it." You heard Billy cry, you all looked at each other with the same worried look.

"Who made you do it?" Max asked.

"I don't know it's like a shadow." Your eyes widened when you heard this, you felt Will holding tightly onto your hand. "Like a giant shadow. Please Max."

"What did he make you do?" Max asked.

"It's not my fault okay? Max please." You heard him cry more. "Please believe me Max it's not my fault. I tried to stop him okay I did. Please believe me Max...."

Max out her hand up against the window, you could tell she was crying too. "Billy it's gonna be okay. It's gonna be okay. We want to help you. You just have to talk to us okay?"

You felt Will shiver and saw him put his hand in the back of his neck. "I feel him." Will shivered. "He's activated."

"Max get away from the door." Mike mumbled.

"What?" Max asked.

"GET AWAY FROM THE DOOR!" You yelled.

Suddenly the window shattered, Max jumped back and screamed covering her head. Billy yelled and hit a sharp piece of concrete against the door then threw it at Max and pulled out the metal rod.

"LET ME OUT YOU BITCH!" He yelled. "ILL FUCKING GUT YOU!"

"Lucas wrist rocket!" You exclaimed. Lucas fiddled with his pocket then shot Billy with the wrist rocket.

"Max come on!" He exclaimed and Max ran over to you all. You all looked up as the lights flickered. You looked through the empty space and saw black lines shoot all over Billy.

Billy threw himself at the door trying to open it, you watched as the chains rattled on the pipe. El put her arms out as if she was protecting all of you, you put your arm over Will, you couldn't let anything happen to him.

"He can't get out can he?" Max asked nervously.

"No way. No way." Lucas said shaking his head.

You watched as the pipe slightly bent when Billy again threw himself at the door, he roared at you all and threw himself at it again. Only this time he made it threw. The pipe broke off the door making steam exhaust around the room, Max screamed as you all stepped back. Billy stood up and glared at you all, you felt the mist around your hand again. You watched as Billy struggled to get you out of his head but then he stopped, he stood up straight with his eyes wide. You walked up to him ignoring Will trying to pull you back, you looked up at Billy.

"Sleep." You whispered.

Billy fell to the floor with his eyes selled shut. You exhaled and turned around to face everyone.

"Ask me if I'm okay tomorrow alright?" You chuckled.

Everyone smiled then their faces turned to fear.

"Y/N LOOK OUT!" Mike yelled.
