Stranger Things x Reader Season 3

Chapter 23

Everyone ran back inside apart from Nancy and Jonathan, she ran to the shed in search for a gun and Jonathan ran to find a weapon of his own. Inside, you piled tables and chairs up against the windows. You helped Mike push a bookshelf up against the front door once Nancy and Jonathan came back inside.

"Hey get away from the windows." Nancy instructed.

Everyone ran to the middle of the house, you all stood around in a circle and you felt Will's grip on your hand. 

You watched as some of the lamps slightly moved, a few of the plates shook. You listened carefully to the bushes moving outside.

"Its close." Will said quietly.

A few branches snapped outside, you heard the thud of footsteps outside. A glass fell and shattered in the kitchen. The the rumbling and noise stopped.

"Where'd it go?" Max asked.

Jonathan tightened his grip on his axe, you took a sharp breath and got ready. Suddenly a shrieking sound broke through the wall. Everyone gasped as a melted arm like thing came in. You all stood back at the walls, you and had your arm over Will as it came up to you facing you. As it nearly charged straight into your face Jonathan hit it with the axe. It threw Jonathan across the room and it went up to him. Before you could do anything, Nancy started shooting it with her gun. It wailed and faced Nancy. She then ran out of ammo and as she tried to put more it the creature started heading for her face. Before it was just inches away it stopped, you took a breath of relief to see El's hand out and her nose bleeding. It shrieked in pain as El pulled it back away from Nancy. As it shrieked El pulled her arm down slicing off the end of it. The rest of the arm slithered back out the hole in the wall. 

"Holy shit." Max gasped, then another one burst through the wall heading to El. 

Luckily she stopped it through mid air. Another one burst through a window and headed to her, she grabbed that one too keeping them away from her. Everyone stood back as she concentrated and threw her arms together slicing the ends off them. As El took a breath the roof above her broke. The Mind Flayer revealed its face with a deep roar, a arm like thing reached out of its mouth and at El's leg. It grabbed her and lifted her towards its mouth. Mike flung himself forwards and grabbed El's arm as she screamed in pain. You jumped forwards and grabbed her too. Everyone held onto El for dear life then it hit you.

"Right you bastard." You mumbled glaring at The Mind Flayer. You held out your hands making the mist appear, you focused hard enough and had grip of the Mind Flayer. It roared at you knowing what you were doing. You made one of its other arms come and slice the one in his mouth releasing El. You smiled to yourself and started clenching your fist. You watched as it shook its head in pain and shrieked at you. As you took deep breaths concentrating on it one of the arms came through and you felt one of its sharp claws slice your face. You cried out in pain losing concentration and you grabbed your face and fell to the ground. You heard El scream and the sound of something rip but you knew the Mind Flayers concentration was on you.

"Y/N!" Will exclaimed, as he tried running over a arm flew past blocking his way. Two of them came around blocking anyone from reaching you. You looked at the blood on your hands and glared at it. Your eyes widened as the arm in its throat repaired itself and headed straight for you. It stopped inches before your face and you saw El laying on the floor with her arm out. You watched as it returned back to the Mind Flayer and El slowly stood up. You watched as blood came out of her jeans and across the floor. She screamed as she held both her hands in the air at the Mind Flayer. Then its face ripped in half. El fell back into Max's arms and the arms blocking you slithered back out of the cabin. Will ran over to you and grabbed your wrists pulling you up.

"Go go go!" Nancy exclaimed.

Nancy and Jonathan pushed the bookshelf out the way of the door and you all ran through it towards the car. Max and Mike had their arms around EL helping her walk. You put your arm over Will's shoulders and he ran with you to the car. Nancy opened the doors and you all climbed in. Max, Mike and El all sat in the trunk while you, Will and Lucas filled up the back. Nancy turned her keys and you started driving. You looked out through the window back at the cabin to see the Mind Flayer shaking its head in pain, it was at least 30 feet tall. You started breathing heavily in shock and pain and you put your hand on your cheekbone to feel the slice in your face. Will put your head on his shoulder and he got a tissue from his pocket and held it on your face, making you slightly calm down.
