Chapter 28

Will POV:

I tried shaking her but she just wouldn't wake up. As i called out her name i felt a single tear run down my face. 

Jonathan ran over and felt her head. "She's burning up." He sighed.

Jonathan dragged her across the floor and over to everyone else. 

"Whats wrong with them?" Erica asked.

"My leg." Eleven said weakly. 

"Her leg okay." Nancy said while she untied her bandage.

Elevens leg was covered in blood, there was a swollen part that seemed purple. El started breathing heavily as something inside it moved. Everyone gasped in disgust and El screamed out in pain. 

Your head imminently turned when you saw y/n's head twitching. She started breathing heavily but she didn't wake up. You slid across the floor to her face and started calling her name. No response. You shook her while El's screams echoed around the mall. 

"Wait a minute." That thing, it grabbed onto El's leg right." Nancy started.

"Yeah?" Jonathan replied.

"What if it put a part of itself inside her." Nancy answered.

"It's trying to flay her." Mike realized.

"And it was on y/n's face." Nancy continued.

"Closer to her brain." You added.

Jonathan and Nancy started peeling her bandages of her face, then you saw it. It was just like EL's but longer. 

"Oh my god." Erica exclaimed.

Then it started moving, it went up next to y/n's eye then back down to her cheekbone. You could see y/n start shaking her head and twitching.

"Its trying to get to her brain. Keep El talking and awake and keep y/n alive." Jonathan said standing up, he ran off to a random store.

El cried in pain more, you knew y/n was inside. 

"You know its not actually that bad." Robin stuttered. "For both of them i mean. There was a- The goalie on my soccer team, Beth Wildfire. This other girl slid into her leg and the bone came out of her knee, six inches it was insane."

"Robin." Steve said.

"Yeah?" Robin asked.

"You're not helping, for one that's in her face." Steve said pointing at y/n.

"I'm sorry." Robin stuttered.

Then Jonathan came back with a knife and plastic gloves.

"Alright, El. I'm going to start with y/n okay? Now remember it will hurt like hell so brace yourself." Jonathan sighed. "I need someone to hold her down and make sure she doesn't move." Jonathan said while putting on the plastic gloves. Lucas and Steve hurried over and held y/n's shoulders down, Jonathan turned her head in a angle and Nancy came to hold her in place. You held onto her hand holding her pulse, you closed your eyes and looked away as Jonathan brought the blade up to her face.
