Chapter 38

Normal POV:

Your eyes slowly flickered open to see bright lights in front of you. You looked down and saw a nebulisar attached to your face, you teared it off and shot up. You saw that you were in a ambulance truck, you felt down your side to feel a bandage wrapped around you. You could hear every mind around you, as if they were speaking too you. You looked out the doors and saw the night sky with misty rain. You looked around to see ambulance cars and firetrucks surrounding the mall. You looked forward and your eyes met with Joyce's you saw she was hugging Will, you raised your eyebrow at the Russian uniform she was wearing then her eyes trailed off somewhere and you followed them to El. 

El stood there looking at Joyce, she was looking for Hopper. You heard Joyce's mind. 'He's gone.' She thought. You jaw dropped and you looked at El she saw your face and looked back at Joyce. She had realized. Tears fell down her face as she fell to her knees. You ran out of the ambulance and to El, she dropped her head in your shoulder and you felt her tears fall. You stroked her hair and whispered 'Its okay' in her ear. You looked over her head to see Joyce and Will again, Will let go of her and turned around, he saw you sat on the floor and he ran over. You brought El to Steve and started running to Will, he threw he arms around you and hugged you tighter then he ever did before. He pulled his head out of your shoulder and looked at you smiling with tears. He leaned in and kissed you. 

"I thought you were dead." He sniffled once you broke apart.

"I thought you were dead once too but here we are." You weakly smiled chuckling and kissing him again. 

As you both hugged crying into each others shoulders you saw your mom rush into the scene, her bright blonde hair radiating in the night. 

"Hang on." You mumbled getting out of Will's grasp, you let go and ran over to her. 

Her face lit up with both fear and happiness when she saw you, she dropped her bag and pulled you in for a hug. 

"Oh my god are you alright!" She exclaimed putting her hand on your cheek looking at your plaster and torn shirt.

"I'm okay." You cried. "But mom, dad is gone." 

"What, did you see something?" She asked.

She knew about your abilities, both your parents had done. "Yeah. I'm sorry." You cried.

She took a deep breath. "Its okay." She smiled. "You go to Will okay." She said looking behind you.

You let go of her hand and ran back to Will, you didn't notice her fall down to the floor looking at her wedding ring. 

You threw your arms around Will again, as if it made all the pain would go away.
