Chapter 29

You woke up screaming and crying, it felt as if a blade had been pushed through your skin. You tried moving but someone was holding you down. You screamed louder and felt more tears running down your face. You felt the knife run up across your cheekbone, you couldn't scream anymore. You just cried. Then you felt it leave your face. You could feel your tears on where the blade had been, then you felt someone's finger in the cut. You started screaming louder than before, you felt it move around in your face making you scream more. You screams became louder as the hand moved up and down your face, you kicked your legs trying to get up, or it was just a natural instinct.  

"Stop!" You heard what sounded like Nancy yell.

"I'm trying to focus!" What sounded like Jonathan.

You couldn't scream any more, it hurt to much. Instead you cried, loudly. You tried to make out the words stop but you couldn't.

"STOP IT!" You heard Will yell and Jonathan's hand came out of your face. You felt whoever was holding you down let go and you lay down and silently cried. You saw Will's face appear in front of you. He pulled your up and you shot up to hug him. Then you saw it again. The black lines shooting up and down your wrist. You slowly let go of Will and you watched as they moved up your arm and towards your neck. Your head started banging, you saw the Mind Flayer in your head. You screamed and covered your head as it continued.

"GET IT OUT GET IT OUT!" You screamed.

"I can do it." You heard El weakly announced.

"Someone is gonna have to cut her leg open a bit so she can get it out of her too." Dustin added.

"Here." Jonathan said passing El a wooden spoon. "Bite down on this okay? Now you saw from y/n this is gonna hurt like hell."

You sank down into Will still covering your head, he rubbed your head in circular motions which slightly calmed you down. 

You closed your eyes when you saw the knife go into El's leg, you could hear her screaming through the wooden spoon. Then you heard the knife drop. 

"Done." Jonathan huffed. 

El wiped her eyes sat up, she signaled for you to move over in front of her. You came off Will and saw the black lines on your elbow. El took a deep breath and pointed to the floor next to her leg, which you knew she wanted you to lie down. You lay down next to her leg and squinted your eyes closed. 

You felt something moving inside your face, you heard El slightly yell. You felt it come up next to your eye and around to your cheekbone. You grit your teeth together and you heard El scream. You heard glass shatter and you squinted your eyes together more. You felt it leave your face through the cut and you opened your eyes. You saw a tiny part of the melted creature with your blood all over it. You felt drops of your blood fall onto your forehead and your eyes widen in shock. Then you saw another one, it was the one from El's leg. They both flew past your head, you turned around and saw them both connect on the floor. As it tried crawling away someone stood on it. You looked up to see Hopper, Joyce and another man. You slowed down your breathing and lay back down on the floor holding your cheek in pain.
