Chapter 14
*Adam's POV*
I grabbed my jacket from the coat rack & walked to the door.
"Where are you going?" Mrs. Ratliff asked.
"Out," I answered. I opened the door & walked through it. I realized that it was cold, but I didn't care. I walked in the city, people stopped & asked me to give them my autograph, but I refused. I just wanted to end the pain once & for all. I walked all the way to California River Bridge. I looked for a good spot to end this. I got up on the ledge when I heard my name being called.
"Adam!" I turn my head to see Ashley running towards me.
"Ashley?" I said.
She stopped, "Adam, get away from the ledge," he instructed me. I did as she said. "Adam, please come back to the house," she said.
"I'd lost him, Ash," I got up on the ledge again.
"Adam! Please don't do this!" she yelled.
I look back at Ashley, she had a scared face, "Take care of Tommy for me, Ash," I took one step behind me & started to fall. Goodbye, Tommy. I love you.
