Every step I'm taking,
Every move I make feels,
Lost with no direction
My faith is shaking****
"This is insane!" I was in awe of the decoration and the thought that obviously was behind it all making sure it filled the room so elegantly. We were on one of the front circular tables which were draped in a white table cloth which contrasted with the red and black hue of the rest of the room. There was a grand candle in the middle of the table which Gemma removed as soon as we sat down.
"Was the candle not up to your likings?" I laugh as I questioningly glance at her.
"It was taking up too much room." She states bluntly which makes me look at her even more suspiciously
"Too much room fo-" I begin but am immediately clamp my mouth shut when I see Harry and Liam carrying a big metal case full of wine which they place instead of the candle.
"Now this is what I'm talking about" I squeal excitingly which makes Liam raise his eyebrows and smirk and Harry just rolls his eyes.
"I promise I'm not an alcoholic, I just need some dutch courage" I state as Gemma stifles a laugh and Harry just raises his hand up in surrender.
There was music playing in the background of the arena as everyone was flooding in slowly. Gemma and I were just gossiping about what would happen during the show and she was constantly trying to reassure me, although I think the alcohol was doing a better job.
My chest was still feeling a bit heavy but I was trying not to dwell on the fact that 'you know who' is here and instead enjoy my time at my first and maybe last ever Brit Awards.
We were surrounded by loads of other tables and it actually felt quite cozy rather than in your face like the runway was. Even the surrounding chairs of the audience seemed so far away that I didn't even notice them properly.
I looked up at Gemma then towards Harry and then at Liam and I couldn't help but smile- even with Harry there, I have a lot to thank him for, and honestly, he isn't that bad the past couple of days have definitely shown that. We definitely judged each other too soon. I doubt we will be best of friends but at least we aren't arguing every other sentence.
Liam smiled genuinely back at me as he held up an empty champagne glass before filling it and handing it to me.
I raise it into the middle of the table as Harry, Gemma and Liam follow suit " To new friends, new experiences and a new understanding of the word "drunk" I screech as they all laugh alongside me. The place was really filling up now but yet I still felt perfectly happy on my little table. It was like no one else existed apart from us, all the cameras, fans, and lights were all at the back of my mind.
Me and Gemma were on our 4th Prosecco before the awards show even started so I could tell we were in for a long night as we were already giggling with one another while Liam and Harry watch amused.
"Are you ok after seeing Callum?" Harry whispers over the table. Liam is sat on my right as Gemma is on my left. Instead of audibly replying I just nod and he gives me a discreet friendly wink of reassurance.
Liam looked very handsome in his all-black suit, he looked like he could be in a James Bond movie as he played with his watch on his wrist twisting it back and forth. But Harry, I hated to admit it but god he could pull anything off. He was wearing a black suit littered with a few diamantes that sparkled under the light while wearing a very very low cut shirt that reached just above his abs, one of his swallow tattoos was on show and it was quite hard not to stare especially as he was opposite me.
