Daniel and you have been friends with benefits for more than two years now. Everyone thought that you were just friends that loved to have each other around, but little did they know what was really going on behind closed doors. You were both casual about the situation, you loved each other as friends but nothing more than that.

When Daniel asked you to be his content creator and travel the world with him you didn't hesitate for a minute, those two things were your favorite things to do. You had studied photography and already made a lot of pictures for Daniel's merchandise, but now you got paid to do it! Sadly you had never the chance to travel the world, but now it was your time to shine.

You gave up your apartment and job in Australia and lived with Daniel from that moment, you saw every formula one race live and got to photograph a lot of other drivers. You shared your work on your social media pages and within a few weeks, you had one hundred thousand followers on Instagram.

When Daniel was free from fulfilling his duties he showed you the most beautiful places around the country you were visiting at that moment. Sometimes Daniel his friends would come along on your trip, but when you were alone you did some activities with a very small amount of clothes on. If you know, you know.

You got a job offer from McLaren to make some content for the team's social media too, after a small talk with Daniel you took the job. What you didn't know was that Daniel was the one who told Andreas and Zac about your talent.

After a long year of traveling around the world, you were happy to be back home in Australia for a few weeks. You always had a lot of respect for Daniel but the past year it gained a lot. Because of your new job and COVID you had not been home for sixteen months now. It was time to spend the holidays with your family. Daniel and you grew up together, so your parents knew each other very well too. For nine years now it was a tradition to celebrate Christmas with both families.

Everyone would bring something so no one had to stand in the kitchen the whole day. Daniel and you were supposed to bring dessert but you first had to shoot some pictures for his Instagram. He drove you to a place with an abandoned train station, the place was not too big but there were a lot of different walls where you could shoot a lot of nice pictures. Daniel was already preparing for the first shots, he switched shirts and put on his cap backward. He was looking way too hot now.

After an hour and a half, you were done taking pictures. You took over a thousand pictures and showed some of them to Daniel. ''Those are some beautiful pictures.'' He said ''That's because I have a very handsome model.'' You said with a grin on your face. ''Give me your camera.'' Dan commended, a bit confused you gave the camera to him. ''Now, go stand there and smile.'' He pointed towards a brick wall, you did what he ask. ''Now smile as you mean it.'' You rolled with your eyes but tried to smile more real. ''Wow those pictures look great, Dan.'' He said, mimicking your voice. ''Well thank you y/n, it's because I have a very pretty model to look at.'' He said. You pushed his shoulder, causing him to get out of balance. He grabbed your arm to prevent himself from falling, he pulled you closer and kissed you. You were a bit caught off guard but you kissed him back. ''What was that for?'' You asked him after you pulled back, he shrugged his shoulders. ''Just felt like kissing you.'' He said casually. He walked back to the car and got in, leaving you standing there. You were still processing what just happened.

Daniel acted a little different the last couple of weeks, he was more touchy than before. Pulling you in for a kiss or a hug, even with people around. It was normal for you to do these things when you were alone but not with other people around. You loved Dan as a friend and nothing more or were your feelings slowly changing? Every time you saw him you got some kind of nervous and when he touches you, your stomach felt weird. Was this what falling in love means?
