Rey, princess of jakku thought that after collage and going home can finally be relaxing. All of the sudden a boy named ben solo came upon her life, and that's where her journey begins. (Completed story)
It's coronation day. I woke up feeling fresh I was very excited, I jumped out of bed and quickly got ready to start the day, obviously, the event is held later this evening so I had so many free time.
I opened my door and see my two guards standing there.
"ITS CORONATION DAY" I squealed and rand to them and hug them so tightly.
They both looked at each other with these weird faces but I didn't care because I was so excited. I ran to the kitchen and saw grandpa.
"Grandpa!!!" I said hugging him
"Looks like someone's happy" he said
"Of course it's coronation day!" I said happily
"Rose Tico is here your highness" mace said
"Ohhh, the dress!" I ran to the living room and saw her with my dress and the handmaidens were there too
"Oh my, that dress is so beautiful" I said
"Glad you like it"
"Rose you are amazing!"
"Thank you your highness"
The dress was blue and it fades to white it had golden details on it too

"Your highness, if you will excuse me I have to be somewhere" she said
"Oh yes you can, uh girls can you take this dress upstairs" I said to the handmaidens and rose left shortly.
4 hours before coronation
The handmaidens enter my room,
"Are you ready to get dressed your highness?" They asked me
"Yes I am"
They started by doing my makeup then started braiding my hair and put it into a low bun so the hair wouldn't disturb the crown once they put it on my head.
They braided my hair so right I felt like they are ripping my hair out of my scalp, but they are pretty good at it.
2 hours before the coronation
I put on he dress and it fits perfectly, I wore white heels with gold details on it too. Once I was done the guards came in.
"Your highness your grandfather wants to see you." Mace said
"Oh okay" I stood up and left the handmaidens followed behind me to make sure I look perfect, I walk down the stairs and saw grandpa along with Mr and Mrs solo
"Oh wow, you look stunning" leia said
"Thank you" I replied
"Oh my goodness my grand daughter is becoming queen" grandpa started tearing up
"Oh grandpa it's going to be all right" I said
I looked over to my left and there was a glass case and inside it was the orb And the sceptre, also the crown

"Oh wow it looks beautiful " I said
"It is" grandpa said
We all waited until the guests have arrived.
"Rey sweetie I am truly sorry that Ben can't be here for this amazing moment" leia said holding my hand
"It's perfectly fine he has a good reason to not be here" I said
"Rey" I looked back and saw grandpa
"In a few more hours you are going to be queen so, you can have your phone back" he handed me my phone
"Oh really!!! Thanks grandpa" I said taking my phone turning it on
I knew the first thing I need to do is text ben...
I tried calling him but someone else answered the phone and old man whose name was jar jar?..
Looks like he changed his number.
"Rey it's time" grandpa said, I nodded and followed behind.
We waited for the grand doors to open and announce us one by one
The doors open and Hand and Leia enters and they announced them. I heard footsteps from behind and it was finn
"I'm here! Oh God I am sorry for being late" finn said breathing heavily, looks like he has been running a lot
"It's fine they just announced leia and han " I told him
They opened the door and finn enters
"Prince finn of D'qar" everyone cheered,
Grandpa took my hand and squeezed it, I'm pretty sure he knows that I'm really nervous. The door opened again and grandpa entered the room and they also announced him.
A few seconds later the door opened once again and I was announced, I slowly enter the room and it felt overwhelming, there were my people, even a lot of tv reporters we're there from different countries.
And there I was standing on stage, the guard brings in the glass case that had the orb, sceptre and the crown was inside of it.
Grandpa stood in front of me and opened the glass case and he then gave me the orb and sceptre. I got down on one knee. The crowd got silent.
"I rey kenobi duchess of jakku" he said looking at a piece of paper
"I rey kenobi duchess of jakku" I followed
"Promise that the country will be in great hands"

He takes the orb and sceptre and puts it back, he takes the crown and carefully puts it on my head, I stand up and face the crowd
"All hail your new queen!" Every one cheered, clapped then bowed down.
