the accident

Days have passed and the news is out, everybody knew the baby was a boy, everyone congratulated me on the baby. It was time for the nursery only 3 months to go until he gets here, so we have to do it fast.

"Ben, we're going to be late for shopping" I said putting on my heels

"Babe, I'm sorry but I have a meeting, you go first and I'll see you there later" ben said

"What it's our first baby shopping together and you're not going to be there" I said

"I'm sorry baby but it's really important" he said

"Oh okay" I said sadly

"Sorry baby" he said giving me a kiss on the forehead, I left and head to the car,

"Okay let's go" I said to the driver

We arrived to the shop and there were lots of cute baby stuff, I spent an hour looking around and finally got something. I bought the baby some outfits.

Finally I was done I payed and back to the car I went " okay lets go home" I said to the driver. Before I know it there was a truck zooming in and hit the car. I didn't remember anything else it just went blank.

Ben's pov

I know I seem like a bad boyfriend/ baby daddy but I had a gift for her when she gets home. Some new clothes, heels, her favorite chocolate and a few things I got for the baby.

"Mom do you know where the bows are?" I asked her

"I don't know you should ask her handmaidens" she said.

I was looking through the drawers trying to find the bows when reys grandfather came running at me

"What's wrong your highness?" I asked him

"Rey, she got into a car accident" he said, my heart instantly dropped

"What"

"We have to go to hospital" he said, we all rushed out to the hospital

At the hospital

"Doctor where is she" I asked him

"Your highness, we need to speak to you, she is in a coma, but she's doing fine" he said

"Oh my goodness, did the baby make it?" Leia asked the doctor

"Sadly no, the baby lost oxygen and now we need to do surgery on the to get the baby out"

"Oh okay" leia said, tears started coming down everyones face, we waited hours for the doctors to the us something, every one slept in the lounge room.

The doctor finally came in

"Your highness, she's doing fine still in a coma, you may visit her" the doctor said

I stood up quickly and walked in the room. I saw her laying down, I took a chair and sat down next to her.

"It's going to be alright, I promise" I held her hand and cried

"Even when the baby is not going to be apart of our lives again, we will always remember spending the last 6 months with it" I said kissing her hand and hot tears coming down

For the next two days, I spent everyday with her. Holding her hand telling her that's everything going to be alright

Tuesday
Another day at the hospital,

"Here you go ben" leia said handing me coffee

"Thanks" I said taking the coffee

"The doctors said that she's fighting, she's doing amazing any time now hopefully she wakes up" leia said holding my shoulder.

I went into the room and sat down next to her again. I took my hand and held her forehead stroking it.

"You can do this" I whispered, I kissed her forehead before I left for a meeting, out the door I go.
