It's been about a month since Ryan took his life for Brendon. We finished tour because there was only about three shows remaining, but there was no real effort put into them. Brendon just showed up, sang, and left. For those last two weeks he barley even talked to me or anyone really. He just hid in his bunk, curtain closed, and sat in silence. Sometimes I would hear sniffling or soft cries, but he would just push me away every time I offered his company. It made me more sad than angry to see him like this.

Even though someone says their over something or left the past behind, the memories are still there. Ryan did do some awful things, but he wasn't always that way. His mind just was corrupt from his broken heart. Unrequited love killed him in the end.

The funeral came the day after we came off tour. Jon had organized it with the few friends they shared, but no family went. We forgave Ryan for what he did and it seemed to help Brendon slip out of his depression filled coma.

He wasn't fully recovered, he would still go on binges just sitting in his room playing favorite songs they shared. I would just watch. Brendon seemed to ignore me when we got back home in LA. We would have small talk conversation, share meals, share a bed, nothing special. No talk of Ryan, no talk at all really.

We sat next to each other on the couch. It was Saturday today, one month after Ryan.

"Dallon?"

"Yeah?"

"I'm sorry."

"Sorry for what?"

He sighed and faced me.
"I'm sorry for making you invisible. I know I haven't said it, but without you I would be ruined. I wouldn't be any better off than Ryan."

I lock our fingers together and gently kiss his forehead with a smile. "Don't say that, you've just been going through a hard time, that's all."

"Yeah, but I shouldn't have ignored you. You're special to me Dallon and I'm glad you're here, I really am. And with all the shit I've made you go through, I'm lucky you're here. You didn't deserve that one bit. I don't deserve you."

He wraps his arms around me and rests his head on my shoulder.

"I love you more than anything Dallon. Thank you for being there for me."

"I love you too Bren."

He stays on my shoulder, arms now wrapped around my waist.

"Do me a favor Dal?"

I push him out of my reach and move the hair laying on his glasses out of his face.

"Anything Bren."

"Marry me?"

And we sealed it with a kiss.

Wooooooo weeee that was something huh? Talk about a fucked up fic. Anywho, thank you for reading!! Unfortunately this is the end of the road for the story, but worry not! Soon I'll try to write a better one that won't be this crazy. Thanks so much and I hope you liked it and didn't get too weirded out!

Ps: I do love Ryan, I just had to do it. sorry. 😘
