Chapter IV - Schoolyard Skirmish

No One's POV:

After the discovery that Mortui et Ultra was once again a threat for Fritz and The Boys, they decided to split into two groups. While Tommy and Artyom look around the local town for evidence of the cult, Fritz and Paul would try and deal with whatever paranormal stuff came up on the ship. All of them felt on edge about the current situation, but they knew they had to press onward. So after a sleepless night Fritz and Paul arrived at the school. Before they entered the building Paul stopped Fritz and reached into his bag, he pulled out two walkie talkies and handed one to Fritz.

Paul: We'll use these to keep in contact throughout the day! Just in case something comes up, you can never be too safe!

Fritz: Alright I like this, very classic!

Fritz then clipped the walkie onto his satchel strap. He fiddled with it a bit and changed it's channel to the one Paul's was on. They gave each other a nod and headed towards their respective classes.

As Fritz left his class he began to walk down the hallway. He then heard a voice come out of his walkie.

Paul: Breaker breaker 23 24 this is Smokey do you copy!

Fritz: That didn't make any sense but hello Paul, yeah I hear you, what's up?

Paul: P-please use the code names. If we are gonna use the wake talkies we gotta act like we at least kinda know what we're doing...

Fritz dragged his hand down his face and sighed before holding the talk button again.

Fritz: uh... ok Smokey... what do you need?

Paul: Oh nothing, I just wanted to test these out a bit.

Fritz: Ok then... well I'll be arou-

Before he could finish he accidentally bumped into a familiar woman. They both smacked heads and fell backwards.

Fritz: Oh shit! I'm sorry!

As he looked over at the woman he hit, it turned out to be none other than Yukari!

Yukari: Hehe, i-it's ok. I wasn't p-paying attention...

Fritz got to his feet and helped Yukari up, this made her blush slightly.

Yukari: I was actually h-hoping to run into y-you. W-well not literally b-but this works.

Fritz: Oh yeah? So was I! What do you need?

Yukari: Well I was just about to head to
T-tankery, and I wanted to see if y-you maybe wanted to still come...

Fritz: Of course! I said I would, didn't I?

Fritz had a big smile on his face that made Yukari feel more confident.

Yukari: Ok! How about we go now!

Fritz: Sounds good to me!

He fixed his hat and began to follow behind Yukari as she navigated the school hallways better than he could ever hope too. After walking a bit more they arrived at the Tankery club.

Fritz: So you guys operate out of a hanger looking thing, that's neat.

Yukari turned around to face Fritz with an excited grin.

Yukari: Yeah, I think so too! Really sets the mood in a way.

As they entered the hanger they were greeted by the entire club. Yukari ran over to a group of girls and signaled Fritz to come over. As he walked over he was greeted by the girls.
