"My heart might be bruised, but it will recover and become capable of seeing beauty of life once more. It's happened before, it will happen again, I'm sure. When someone leaves, it's because someone else is about to arrive--I'll find love again."
Paulo Coelho
-"So, how did the photo's turn out?" Hoseok asked once Yoongi sat down. Yoongi rolled his eyes before pulling up a photo on his phone. "Taehyung was convinced that this photo was his masterpiece of the decade."
Hoseok looked at the photo before smiling up at Yoongi. "He's right, you look beautiful." Yoongi looked at Hoseok with an unimpressed look. "Very smooth."
"No, no, I'm being serious. You look gorgeous, stunning, handsome, beautiful, pretty-"
"That's enough." Yoongi laughed, Hoseok smiled and propped his face on the palm of his hand. Yoongi stuffed his phone away before he looked up and immediately turned red, he did not expect to see Hoseok's adoring eyes from the get go. "I hope you're not too tired after that exhausting day at work." Yoongi smiled and shook his head. "I can manage." The waitress walked up to them and gave them both a menu. "Can I get you two anything to drink?"
"Sprite." Hoseok smiled, making the waitress bite her lip. "Water is fine." She scribbled the orders down before walking off. The two started talking when the waitress came back with their drinks. Placing Hoseok's down and winking, before she tucked her hair behind her ear and walked off moving her hips a little bit more than before. Hoseok looked back before turning back to an unamused looking Yoongi. "What?" Yoongi shrugged, taking a sip of his water and averting his gaze.
Eventually the two had ordered dinner, when the waitress striked up a conversation with Hoseok. "So, what brings a handsome man like you here?"
"Having dinner." The girl giggled. "Would you like a special dessert?" Hoseok smiled kindly. "What do you offer?" She leaned in before Yoongi cut her off. "He's a minor lady, keep it moving." She awkwardly leaned back, before turning red. "I'm so sorry." She quickly walked off. Hoseok, completely oblivious, raised his brow at Yoongi. "She was going to give us a special dessert!" Yoongi rubbed his forehead, the palm of his hand slowly gliding down his face. The look of annoyance evident on his face. "She was trying to fuck you."
"Oh.... Oh-" Hoseok cleared his throat, giving Yoongi an apologetic look.
Once they were finished with their dinner a completely different waiter came to clear their table and offer the bill. Yoongi quickly snatched the bill. "I'm paying this time." Hoseok threw his hands up in defeat. "Guess I'll just have to buy ice cream to make up for it." Yoongi smiled while laying the money down. "You better."

The two walked around in town, on their way to an ice cream parlor. Hoseok looked down at their hands before eventually grabbing Yoongi's. Yoongi kept looking ahead while he intertwined their fingers. He seemed a lot more knowledgable about this all then Hoseok. He must've been in love before. "There it is." Yoongi pulled Hoseok along, both of them entering the shop.
"Welcome, what can I get you?"
"I would like a coffee flavor in a cup please." Yoongi said politely. Out of habit Hoseok answered his simple and overly practiced answer. "Sprite?"
"Sorry sweetheart we don't have that." Hoseok looked around before his eyes fell on one. "Oreo. In a cup." She smiled before putting the ice creams in their respective cups and handing them to the boys. Hoseok went over to the cashier register and paid.
They stepped back outside, walking alongside each other while scooping their ice cream in their mouths with the little spoon. "How does yours taste?" Hoseok asked. "Like coffee." Yoongi replied back sarcastically. Hoseok dug his spoon in before trying. "You know you're supposed to ask right?" Hoseok smiled and shrugged before pulling a disgusted face. "Too strong." As a payback Yoongi scooped a little from Hoseok's ice cream and stuffed it in his mouth. "I like that one." Yoongi threw his now empty cup in the trashcan and quickly joined Hoseok's steps again. "You do?" Yoongi nodded, zipping his jacket up a little more. "Well it's gone." Yoongi laughed, playfully bumping into Hoseok who threw his cup in the trash. "However..."
"No I'm not walking back to get another."
"....Not what I was going to say." Hoseok stopped walking, making Yoongi turn to face him. "However...." Hoseok stepped close, placing his hand on Yoongi's hip. "You can taste it again." Hoseok leaned in before he heard a snort from Yoongi, he had missed the mark again.
"This is getting painful." Yoongi said. He wrapped his arms around Hoseok's neck, pulling the slighty taller boy down so their lips could meet. The moment their lips met, all the puzzle pieces started falling in place. Hoseok had fallen, hard. In all his years of life and watching all those movies he had never imagined a kiss to have so much effect on him. In one moment he was swooning, imagining life raising 4 dogs in a big ass garden and then he was back in reality, focusing on all the small details. The fact that Yoongi wore a small spray of cologne to enhance his already existing body aroma instead of overpowering it. The way Yoongi's jacket crinkled in between his own fingers or how Yoongi just knew all the little tricks to make this kiss just absolutely perfect.
Yoongi leaned back, slowly letting his hands slide down Hoseok's neck before breaking the kiss and smiling sweetly at the boy. "You're right, I tasted the oreo." Hoseok sighed loudly, making Yoongi laugh. "Did you really have to say that?"
"You started it."
