“And the purpose of life, after all, is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience.”

"Taehyungie!" Taehyung's mom pulled her son in for a hug. "I missed you so much my honey bear." Taehyung tightly hugged his mom back, having missed her a lot as well. When she pulled back is when Yoongi became the next victim of her hug attack. "Yoongi! So you came along anyway! I'm so glad to see you again."

"Nice to see you again as well Dae." Yoongi hugged her back. Taehyung's mom had been a second mother to him for years. She smiled at him like a proud mother before her eyes fell on the tall man behind them.

"And who is this handsome fella? Yoongi is this your boyfriend?" Yoongi awkwardly laughed. "Heh, no... How about you ask your son who it is instead." Taehyung's mother turned to Taehyung. "Taehyungie who is it?" Taehyung smiled and pulled Hayun closer to his mother. "This is Hayun, a... good friend."

"Friend you say?" She looked at her son with suspicion before facing Hayun. "Nice to meet you Hayun, you can call me Dae if you'd like." She pulled him in for a shorter hug. "Nice to meet you Dae."

She beckoned the boys further into the house. "Hayun are you also sleeping here?" Hayun smiled. "Oh no, I'm staying at my cousin's home." She nodded. "Okay thank god because we only prepared for one extra person." The boys put their bags to the side.

"I have prepared an amazing lunch for you!" Taehyung immediately sprinted towards the dining table. "Yoongi is your mom that bad at cooking?" Dae laughed, looking at Taehyung who was impatiently waiting for the rest to join. "No, but my mother isn't a chef like you." Dae brushed her own shoulder, gloating about her cooking skills.

"Hayun are you at least joining us for lunch?" She expectantly looked over at him. "I would love to."

"Where are those two little demons?" Taehyung asked his mother, not seeing his little brother and sister anywhere. "They're at your Grandmother's right now, they'll be back soon."

"Woooowww! It's so bright and beautiful!" Jimin looked at the city while Namjoon's parents were trying to haul a taxi to the hotel.

"Seoul can be bright as well."

"I know, but Tokyo just feels way brighter." Jimin let out a content sigh. "Thank you for allowing me to join."

"You don't have to thank me for that."

"Boys hurry up we have a taxi!" Namjoon's mother called out, the two of them quickly picked their suitcases up and ran over to the taxi.

-

"Are you kidding me? This is- Wow!" Jimin looked around the hotelroom, it was so fancy and like twice the size of his living room. "Are you sure this isn't too expensive for your parents?"

"They had to book an extra room anyway, considering they didn't want me in their room. So seriously, it's fine. Don't stress yourself over it." Jimin was in awe. "One request, don't take anything out of the mini fridge, my parents will go ballistic." Jimin looked over at the small tiny fridge and nodded. "I'll try to remember that."

Namjoon plopped down onto the giant bed, enjoying how fluffy and comfortable it was. Jimin jumped in next to him, getting shocked by the comfort. "I want to live this life forever." He sighed, curling into the soft blankets. "My parents can only afford this life for a week, so that will have to do for now." Namjoon laughed, making Jimin roll his eyes.

"So you arrived safely?"

"For the 10th time, yes. I did."

"I'm just concerned!"

"Please, we both know your deal with funerals. You just don't want to attend one."

"I swear I saw my granny open her eye!"

"You were 7."

"7 and traumatized for life."

Jungkook sat down on his bed, staring out his window that had a view on the beach.

"Different subject. My dad allowed me to go party at New Years... You down?"

"I'd rather plan something with the group to be very honest with you."

Seokjin let out a gasp.

"How about a late night picknick at the park and then we'll blast each other's socks off with firework!"

"Sounds dangerous.... I'm in."

"We'll discuss the plan with the rest later. Now I really have to go and rent a snowboard before the shop closes."

"Find a nice one that you can't die on!"

"I was just about to get the Grim Reaper one."

"What!? No don't do tha-"

Seokjin had hung up, Jungkook let out a sigh of frustration. "I told you not to die! I don't want to go to another funeral." He pouted, laying his phone on the nighstand.

Hoseok stretched himself out after the long flight, the heat of Australia's summer hitting him in the face. He pulled out his phone and texted Yoongi that he had arrived safely, quickly getting a reply back. "Really? Okay is all you had to say?" Hoseok laughed before stuffing his phone back in his pocket.

"Hoseok hurry up will you? We don't have all day to get to the hotel!" Hoseok let out a sigh before quickly following his parents.
